[1] The Research and Evaluation Department establishing a new partnership with the Ryan White Program at the Laredo Health Department to proceed with the Texas HIV and Aging project.

[2] The Latino Religious Leadership Program conducting the panel “El Estigma, El Lenguaje y La Salud Mental” (Stigma, Language and Mental Health) at Church of God of Third Avenue.

[3] Kick-Off of the 2023 campaign and 20-year Anniversary of National Latinx AIDS Awareness Day at the AIDS Memorial in New York City.

[15] Encuentro, a three-day conference in San Antonio, TX, organized by Latinos in the South Program, brought together LGBTQ Latinx southerners and allies to establish a vision for advocacy and increase their organizational development and leadership skills.

[16] The 7th Annual NYC Latinx Gay, Bi and Trans Men Health Summit, hosted by Oasis Community Pride Center and the Latinx Gay, Bi and Trans Men’s Network, brought together representatives of NYC organizations that provide services to the LGBTQ+ community to reinforce their role in advancing the end of the HIV Epidemic.

[17] HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra’s Hosted a Roundtable with National Hispanic/Latino Leaders, including Guillermo Chacon, president of the Latino Commission on AIDS.

[18] The NYC Latino Health Action Day brought together public health leaders including: Leandro Rodriguez, Vice-President, Latino Commission on AIDS; Bethsy Morales-Reid, Assistance VP for Programs, Hispanic Federation; Dara Kass, MD, HHS Regional Director, Region 2; Michael Montero, LMSW, Director of Health Policy and Advocacy, Latino Commission on AIDS

[19] Lina Rodriguez, Sheri Friedberg, Ruben Rodriguez and Rosa Altamirnano; some of the winners and participants of the NLAAD favorite poster survey showing the most voted poster.

[20] Miss Universe 2022 R'Bonney Gabriel visiting the Commission’s main office to get an HIV training and discuss ways in how she can use her worldwide platform to raise HIV testing awareness.
