Now a man called Barabbas was in prison with the insurrectionists (Mark 15:7). What does Jesus have to say about Barabbas's choices? What does he say about the choices--and conditions--that made Barabbas? Join us this week in worship as we continue our Lenten sermon series, Power and Passion: Six Characters in Search of Resurrection. See you at 8:30 or 11:00 in the sanctuary, or 9:00 for contemporary worship in Casper Holroyd Hall. | | |

As Kimberly continues to do an incredible job serving as our Interim Director of Children’s Ministry, we continue to seek a permanent, full-time Director to lead this important ministry. We are looking for someone who truly loves kids and loves God. This leader will provide the vision for our children’s ministry, oversee our nursery team, equip and encourage volunteers, and create meaningful opportunities for children and families to engage in worship and grow in faith. Ideal candidates may come from a background in education, business, ministry, or a related field, with experience leading teams, organizing programs, developing curriculum, or building strong partnerships with families. Most importantly, we are seeking someone with a passion for helping children grow in their relationship with Jesus.
Please help us expand our search by sharing this link https://www.hbumc.org/employment and prayerfully considering who in your own network might be a fit.
