Due to this weekend's forecast and the cancellation of all church activities, we will not be holding the Chili Cook-Off this year.
Be sure to sign up for the Shrove Tuesday fundraiser on 2/17 and mark your calendars for our Parent Date Night Out in March - both are great ways to show up for our students while enjoying time together as a church community.
For those who registered or placed pre-orders, you are welcome to request a refund, or you may choose to have it counted as a donation to our HBUMC Youth Service Projects. Please contact Claire Watson with any questions.
| | “Lord, do you want us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them?” (Luke 9:54). This Sunday we'll continue in our sermon series #fail: When Grace Meets Our Worst Moments. Who were the Sons of Thunder, and what is the danger of a "single story"? How did their own story end? Join us virtually this Sunday at 11am, as together we discover how grace shows up after the mistake, inside the regret, and beyond the moment that feels defining. | | |

Be still and know that I am God.
Psalm 46:10
"Beneath all the tumultuousness of life is a profound and deep pool of stillness from which we can behold the world, yet not get lured into reacting to it. We connect with God where there is no agenda but love alone, develop an inner freedom and begin to discover something of the foundation of who we are that endures no matter the constantly shifting tides around us."

Prayer Requests
We believe God is present in the prayers we lift up for one another.

If your prayer concern is confidential, and you want only to share with the pastors, please indicate so in your email.
