This Sunday our children will sing and wave palm branches as we remember Jesus's triumphal entry into Jerusalem in the last week of his life. What was going through his mind as he looked ahead to that week? How did his friends love him even as they knew they would lose him? Save the date for Scattered to Serve on Saturday, April 25th! This is an annual Hayes Barton UMC tradition where members serve with organizations across Raleigh, and connect with partners working in our community. The day will begin with worship in the sanctuary at 8:00 a.m., followed by breakfast, before teams scatter into the community to serve. There will be opportunities for all ages. Sign up here!

Sunday, March 29 – Palm Sunday

All kids are invited to process into the 9:00 and 11:00 am services while singing Riding on the Road to Jerusalem and waving palm branches. Just like Jesus on His way into Jerusalem the Sunday before Easter, the children will help reenact this special moment in the Palm Sunday story.
