This Sunday our children will sing and wave palm branches as we remember Jesus's triumphal entry into Jerusalem in the last week of his life. What was going through his mind as he looked ahead to that week? How did his friends love him even as they knew they would lose him? Join us this Sunday for the last of our sermon series, Power and Passion: Six Characters in Search of Resurrection. Traditional worship is held in the sanctuary at 8:30 (includes communion) and 11, and contemporary LightHouse worship starts at 9 in Casper Holroyd Hall.

Join us for Holy Week at HBUMC, a sacred time of reflection, prayer, and renewal as we journey through Christ’s passion, death, and resurrection.

Join us on Earth Day, April 22 at 6:30pm for a book study on The Serviceberry by Robin Wall Kimmerer. Together, we’ll explore themes of abundance, gratitude, and reciprocity in God’s creation. See how our faith shapes the way we live in relationship with the natural world. The conversation will be led by Pastor David alongside David & Dianne Jones. Sign up here.

Save the date for Scattered to Serve on Saturday, April 25th! Faithful Jesus, your faith was tried just like mine, but even more. Yet you trusted that you would not be put to shame, and "into God's hands you entrusted your spirit." Give me courage to do the same in the time of trial.
