FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The Committee to Elect Chantaye McLaughlin (East Point Ward B At Large City Council Candidate) Presents Conversations with the Candidate Champagne Brunch At Sadiq's This Sunday May 30th
EAST POINT, GA, May 25th, 2021 - In a direct engagement with East Point stakeholders at a champagne brunch fundraiser this Sunday, May 30th from 12noon - 2:00pm at Sadiq's (3762 Campbellton Rd SW, Atlanta 30331), Chantaye McLaughlin intends to spread the word about her unique platform in running for East Point City Council Ward B At Large in the city's 2021 elections.

"As someone who has lived experience with both the criminal justice system as well as mental health," shares McLaughlin, "it is my intention to implement mental health first aid training as well as trauma-informed care certification to all first responders, to include the police department as well as the fire department.

"It is my belief that the only way to impact systemic racism is to address cultural diversity and the lack of understanding across cultures.

"As a mother of boys and someone who has been advocating for her missing children, that I believe were human trafficked, we have to address these young people selling water on the corners by implementing entrepreneurial programs. What are our children's lives worth to you?"
