Celebrating 10 Years of Serving Sardis: Nikki Bolton, Director of Communications
It seems like yesterday when Nikki joined Sardis’ staff as a part-time receptionist in 2012. Her multiple skills and flexibility were great additions to the staff as she filled many roles including helping with the Youth, general administrative tasks, and communication needs. In June 2013, when the full-time communications role was open Nikki was a natural fit.
She continues to maximize her flexibility while leading our ministries and staff with their communication needs. She loves to creatively find ways to tell how Sardis and its ministries are changing lives by using our website, social media channels, weekly newsletters, and other mediums.
Nikki was born in upstate NY and grew up in Boca Raton, FL where she played club and high school soccer. She graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s in Mass Communications and Media Studies.
Her greatest joys are her husband, Mike and their two children, Myles (4) and Lily (2). Nikki also enjoys spending time with her family, reading, playing soccer and softball, hiking, and catching up on the latest true crime story on Netflix.
Next time you see Nikki congratulate her on her 10 years of serving Sardis Presbyterian! She may even throw in a book recommendation or Netflix show! Nikki…Thank you for all you do for Sardis!

If you can volunteer for VBS, please contact Sarah Dianne Jones. We also invite you to join the VBS mission component by donating needed items for Loaves & Fishes / Friendship Trays. Church Life News & Announcements
As previously announced, Elizabeth wrapped up her immensely successful 4-year tenure leading the Sardis Weekday School, serving children ages 1-5 years old. She is always one to embrace a challenge- she transformed the Weekday School over the last 4 years by instilling a wonderful curriculum, building a fabulous staff, and unwavering attention to her students and their wonderful families.
Such accomplishments do not go unnoticed, and Elizabeth is excited about her next adventure in the education field.
With a career in education spanning for close to 30 years, Sardis Weekday School is so grateful to have had Elizabeth as part of the Sardis Presbyterian community. Whether engaging with students, leading staff, creating early childhood programs, meeting with families, events, or designing curriculum she always gave her students 100%. Sardis Weekday School and the Sardis Presbyterian families want to extend a HUGE THANK YOU to Elizabeth and especially to her family for sharing her with us…her husband and childhood sweetheart (Charles) and their sons, Matthew & Zachary. Elizabeth’s commitment to education and our children is best expressed in one of her favorite quotes she noted in a recent spotlight of Sardis’ staff…“When you get, give. When you learn, teach.” Dr. Maya Angelou. You will be missed and we wish you the best Elizabeth!
