MANY THANKS TO PSECU FOR SPONSORSHIP OF THE COMMUNITY CALLER!

Dear Friends,

National Gratitude Month presents a great opportunity to share some new research that elevates gratitude from the thoughtful act of writing thank you notes to a lifestyle that can actually improve your health and strengthen your relationships at home, at work, and in the community. This information was compiled from multiple sources.

  • Grateful people are more likely to be proactive about their healthcare; exercise more, and experience fewer aches in pains than those who aren’t grateful.

  • Grateful people sleep better, have less stress, have higher self esteem, and experience more successful relationships.

  • People who are grateful are more cooperative, creative, and productive. One study showed that people who practice gratitude are 31% more productive and 3 times more creative than those who don’t.

  • Companies that have adopted a gratitude model have experienced 50% greater revenues than their counterparts.

  • In one survey, 81% of employees said they would work harder if their boss was more grateful.

If you want to reap the many benefits of practicing gratitude, scroll down for a few recommendations and resources to get started!

I'm thankful for each one of you. Happy Thanksgiving!
