Multi Use Trails Update and Community Engagement Results

Multi Use Trails
In 2017, the City of Mayfield Heights applied for and was awarded a TLCI grant from the Northeast Ohio Areawide Coordinating Agency (NOACA). The grant made possible a comprehensive, city-wide study to identify long-term objectives for community connectivity. The Mayfield Heights Connectivity Study brought residents and City officials together to take a deep look at how pedestrian and bicycle traffic is supported in Mayfield Heights.

Community Engagement Results for Parks & Pool
This summer, the city engaged the community in a pool, parks and recreation research project to solicit feedback on their vision for new and improved recreational facilities. Every member of the Mayfield Heights community was encouraged to participate. Multiple channels were used to promote the project and to collect data. The survey centered around pool amenities, playgrounds, multipurpose fields, trails, and other recreational amenities. Over 850 responses were received.
