Infinite Campus Maintenance
Network upgrade maintenance to Infinite Campus is scheduled for Friday, April 5, starting at 11 PM and lasting until 3 AM CST on April 6.

During this four hour window, users will be unable to make online payments and will instead receive an error message when attempting a payment or when making modifications to payment methods.

Upcoming Community Event
The Hales Corners and Greendale Community Alliance is excited to announce the new date for the 2 nd annual community wellness event: Understand How Mental Health and Substance Abuse Risk Connect at Greendale High School on Tuesday, April 9 th from 5:45-8:30 PM. The event begins with a community resource fair at 5:45 PM. The presentation and panel discussion will begin at 7 PM. We'll hear from local professionals who will address this topic and provide practical information for parents and teens. We invite parents and students to attend and learn more about the connection between mental health and substance abuse. Visit the Community Alliance Facebook page today for more details.

HCL Offering
The Hales Corners Library's annual book sale is the weekend of April 12. Whitnall Honor Society students help with this event, which is a fundraiser for the Friends of the Hales Corners Library. Check out the flyer!

Junior Falcon Summits
Junior Falcon Summits will begin next week on April 11. School counselors will be scheduling with 11th grade students and parents for these meetings.

Forward Testing
Whitnall Middle School will be participating in the Wisconsin Forward Test the weeks of April 8 and April 15. All grades will be testing in the morning on April 10, 11, and 17. 8th Grade has an additional test the morning of April 18. Please charge Chromebooks each evening.
Mud Run Bake Sale
WMS is holding a bake sale the week of April 8 before school to support the Mud Run in May. If you are able to help, please complete THIS form.
6th Grade Transition Night
Wednesday, April 10 from 6 - 7 PM, WMS will be holding our transition night for any current 5th grade students who plan to attend WMS in the fall of 2019! The event will take place in the East Gym upstairs and will include a presentation, staff meet, and optional tours afterwards. Families are welcome to stay for the WMS PTO meeting afterward starting at 7 PM!
6th Grade Registration for 2019-2020
Current 5th grade families at HCE and EES will get registration materials sent to them through Infinite Campus on Friday, April 12. Information will also be provided at 6th Grade Transition Night and will be available in the WMS Office.
2019-2020 School Supply Kits
2019-2020 school supply kits are available for online purchase now. Save yourself time, and help support WMS by ordering today. A portion of the sales go back to the school to help raise funds for student activities.

Edgerton Elementary
Forward Testing
During the next two weeks, Edgerton students in grades 3-5 will take the Wisconsin Forward Exam. This is our fourth year taking this version of the state assessment that will be administered in English language arts and mathematics. Our 4th graders also take the Forward science and social studies exams. Edgerton’s testing window will be April 8 through April 24. This assessment gives us valuable information, and our students always show maximum effort and concentration.
Tornado and Severe Weather Awareness Week
The week of April 8 is Tornado and Severe Weather Awareness Week in Wisconsin. The National Weather Service in Wisconsin and Wisconsin Emergency Management are asking that everyone take time to go over their safety plans so that they will be ready if severe weather strikes. The time to prepare is before the storms hit. Edgerton Elementary staff will review safety plans with our students and will practice a tornado drill next week.

Book Swap
Edgerton is currently collecting gently used children’s books and magazines for our annual book swap to be held in early June. If you wish to donate any books you no longer want, they may be dropped off at the school office. This event is held in conjunction with our summer reading kick-off. With your donations, every Edgerton student is able to select several books to take home with them. Thank you for considering a donation!

Construction Update
The roof is complete! Concrete has been poured in all of the rooms. The progress has been steady, and you can follow it in the weekly updates .

Knowledge-A-Thon
April 12 is the Knowledge-A-Thon. Students are encouraged to bring a thinking cap to wear. It is also a spirit wear day, so remember to don HCE or Whitnall apparel or wear blue and gold. Volunteers are still needed. Please sign up here .
