First Day of School
The first day of school for all students is Tuesday, September 3. This is a full day for all students. Our school’s class start time is 7:45 AM, so it is advised that all students are in the building by 7:40. The school buses arrive at the high school at approximately 7:35. As in previous years, students can still enter the building’s main entrance beginning at 7:00. However, all students in the building prior to 7:35 must report to the supervised cafeteria. Breakfast will continue to be served beginning at 7:00.
The Whitnall Falcon Booster Club
New booster club members may pick up their membership cards at the WFBC table outside the entrance to Falcon Field 30 minutes prior to any home football game. For those who would like to buy a membership at a football game, there will be a separate line for you. However, if you would prefer to move quickly into the game, you can purchase your membership in advance on the booster club website. Go here !
For our families with younger students, are you aware that your PTO volunteers are running 3 of our 4 football home game concessions? By attending these games, you not only support our high school students via the booster club, you are supporting your school as well! The middle school PTO will be running concessions for the first home game on September 6 – which is also Youth and Teacher Appreciation Night. Our second home game on September 13 (also Parents Night) will be manned by the PTO from Edgerton Elementary. And our brave crew from Hales Corners PTO will be running the show for Homecoming on October 4. If you would like to help out, the booster club has room for you too! On September 27, they are looking for a few parents to come in from 6-9:30. If interested, please go to the booster club website and click the volunteers tab. From there, click on the sign-up genius and type your name in for the 27th. Go here !

Open House
August 28 | 4:00 - 5:40 PM

Come and meet Whitnall Middle School staff and drop off supplies! The reason for the unique time frame is that at 6 PM, the Whitnall School District will be having a ribbon cutting at Hales Corners Elementary for the updates done within each school building.
Supply Drop Off
August 29 and 30
8 AM - 12 PM

For students unable to make August 28th for open house/supply drop off, the building will be available from 8 AM to 12 PM on August 29 and 30 for students to bring in supplies. If you can't make any of the days, bring everything with you on September 3rd. The building will need to close at 12 PM each day so we are able to continue to get things ready inside for our September 3rd start!
Drop Off & Pick Up
Drop Off
Just a reminder or for those new to WMS--The south side or "front" of our building where our main office is located is where our busses drop off each morning. We ask, for safety reasons, that no cars use this space until after 8 AM. Parents that would like to drop off students can do so on the north-east side using the drive through area that enters right by WHS.

What time can I drop off in the morning?
We are not able to provide daily supervision for students until 7:35 AM. For inclement weather, we will make adjustments.

Pick Up
All parent pick up should be done using our drive space off of 116th Street. Our parking lot is needed for after school activities and will often be blocked by our busses picking up.
School Pictures
Middle school students should go to the high school's gym between 9 AM and 7 PM on Wednesday, August 28 . Our photography company, VIP, will print out student IDs on the spot for middle and high school students.
