Bryan Wright Virtually Presents: The Dangers of Social Media and Sexting.

Whitnall is thrilled to be offering two virtual presentations on the dangers of social media and sexting from Bryan Wright, the owner of Dynamic Family Solutions LLC. Over the last 12 years, Bryan has worked as a youth / teen advocate. He hopes to share the information and knowledge gained through his research and work experience to address these important issues families and youth are facing today.

In this presentation, Bryan will touch on the following topics:
  • Identity development, and awareness of hypersexualization in today's society and how it impacts youth's decision making
  • The influences and risks of social media and the dangers of sexting
  • What are preventative measures parents can take to promote safe technology use?
  • The importance of having open conversations with youth and setting healthy boundaries

These presentations will cover sensitive matters, and are intended for a mature audience. Please be mindful of your audience at home while in attendance, as the information discussed may include language that is not appropriate for young children.

Morning Parking Lot Drop Off
Beginning Monday, we are revising the directions for morning drop off. Similar to the after school pick up, we will have a staff member direct the cars one at a time to the curb. Both lanes will be stopped before the curve. This procedure still requires parents to move along the entire length of the sidewalk. Stopping at a specific door is causing the entire drop off process to slow. Your help is needed to make the drop off not only safe but efficient. Please follow the directions of the staff members in the green vests.
