Students Awaiting Test Results
Families are reminded that students who have been tested for COVID-19 need to stay home until test results are received, even if they begin to feel better. Please follow the following steps while you are awaiting your test results:

1. Please DO NOT SEND your child to school until he/she has been cleared to return by a member of health services.

2. If your child is negative, please send a copy of the results to the [email protected] email address. This documentation is needed to medically excuse these absences.

3. Continue to report your child's absences to your school as you normally do.

4. If your child is positive, notify [email protected] ASAP. Please provide the date when the symptoms started and any close contacts your child may have had within the district, outside of the classroom. Below are resources from DHS to help guide you as well.

You may also refer to the DHS Next Steps: While You Wait for Your COVID-19 Test Results fact sheet to guide you.

Please review these additional COVID Reminders.

These steps will help to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and keep our community safe.

Request for Art Supplies
Mrs. Weeks has requested that in-person students replenish their art supplies for the second semester. Below is a list of the items requested. Thanks for helping to make this a great learning year!

Art Supplies for Second Semester:
Crayola Classic Colors Markers Broad Line
Crayola Crayons (highly recommend the Twistables as those do not break)
2 Sharpies (1 Fine Point and 1 Ultra Fine Point)
1 Glue Stick
5 #2 Pencils
An extra large pencil box or plastic bag to keep all art supplies in.
Disinfecting Wipes
Many of our classrooms are running low on disinfecting wipes. If you are able, please send in a container or two with your child. They seem to be more available in the stores these days. Having these on hand in the classroom helps students and staff to disinfect quickly and effectively. Thanks for helping us to keep EES healthy!
