Board Brief | March 18
Board briefs are simple summaries of our board meetings. Without having to labor through or wait for the comprehensive board minutes, you can access what changes the board approved at each of their meetings! The latest board brief (for the March 18 meeting) has been posted. Check it out on the right sidebar of our Agendas & Minutes page.
Update on Music Programming Considerations for 2019-20
At the March 18 board meeting, there was continued discussion regarding potential changes in our elementary instrumental music offerings, staffing assignments, and schedules to address equity in program delivery and staff FTE. You can visit our board web page for videos and handouts from both the March 11 and 18 meetings.

There will be a special meeting on April 1 at 6:30 PM in the WHS Library (the Community Board Room will be set up for the April 2 election) to take a vote on this item. While we typically post our board packets on Fridays, we are planning to post this board packet no later than Wednesday, March 27, to allow ample time for the public to view the information in the packet.

Since this is a special meeting, the format will be:
  1. Call to Order
  2. Comments from the Audience Regarding Agenda Items
  3. Action Item: K-12 Music Programming
  4. Adjournment

We would like to thank all the parents who have attended our meetings, completed the survey, and shared comments, thoughts, and ideas. Your input and participation is greatly appreciated.
