Survey on Class Rank
Following our roundtable discussion on class rank, we are soliciting further input. Parents of alumni (graduating classes of '15, '16, '17, '18) should have received an email to forward to their graduated child. This email contains a link to a survey on class rank. If you have not yet forwarded this email, please do so. And please encourage your alumnus' participation.
Pay Day
On June 11, we will be hosting a personal finance simulation for our 200 juniors at Whitnall High School. This event is called "Pay Day" and will run from 7:45 – 10:45 AM in the WHS Gym. We are looking for businesses or organizations that are interested in participating. To make this a successful event, we will need many volunteers!

Art, Music, and World Language Survey
Below is a message and link that you should have received via email earlier this week. If you have not yet completed the survey, please do so now. Thank you for your participation!

We are currently conducting a program review / program visioning for the areas of K-12 art, music, and world language in the Whitnall School District. Since we don't have vision statements or goals for any of the programs, we aren't really conducting a review of the programs in terms of effectiveness, as there haven't been any established expectations.

Our goal is to develop a program vision for each of the three programs so we have common language and expectations for all stakeholders. Having a program vision allows the district to align resources (personnel, facilities, curriculum, offerings, schedules) to that vision. Whenever there are changes to be considered, it is important to align the decisions and changes around the vision.

We are soliciting feedback from the community, parents, staff, and students--both program and non-program participants. We have conducted interviews and are now conducting surveys. Please take time to complete our survey regarding the current and future programming for art, music, and world language. The survey will be open through June 10, 2019.

A card is available free of charge to any Milwaukee County resident. Register online ( www.mcfls.org/selfreg ) . Then, bring two forms of identification with name and current home address to the library to complete your registration and receive your card. Children age 15 and under need a parent with proper ID to sign for them. The library card may be used at any public library in Milwaukee County, but only by the person to whom it was issued. Students and adults can also sign up early for the Hales Corners Public Library Summer Reading Challenge. Hope to see you there!
Mud Run Details
The Whitnall Mud Run will take place this evening on the WMS Field!  Last chance to sign up here ! Print out your waiver forms and bring it along with your donations to the registration table on the main path near the middle school field. The donations will be used to set up a scholarship fund in the names of Kevin and Kylie Duffy.

Once checked in, you will be allowed to take on the course at your own pace. Volunteers will be staggering people during certain obstacles. Later during the event, everyone will be gathered around to cheer on those that would like to participate in a series of tug of wars over a mud pit!

If you have a student that is attending, please verify that they have either already turned in their wavier/donations or will do so at the event. We don't want to have to turn away students who don't have a parent signed  waiver if they are planning to show up this evening!

Volunteers, please meet at the tent to confirm your attendance and roles.

Concessions will also be available!
- Hot Dogs - $1
- Burgers - $2
- Chips - $.50
- Soda and Water - $1
