3 year olds will engage in a developmental screening by trained observers in a natural play setting and receive a health check by the district nurse.
Parents will have an opportunity to learn more about Whitnall Core 4 program and other community agencies.

This interactive life-size exhibit of a teen’s bedroom displays more than 20 “red flags” that can signal risky behaviors, like drug or alcohol use. The bedroom identifies spots where teens may hide drugs, household items that can be used as drug paraphernalia, and ways teens try to cover up drug and alcohol use. This is a “must-see” for all parents! The presentation is for adults only, 21 years of age and over.
*New this year! There is an extensive display of vaping devices, including JUUL. There will be a discussion about the vaping epidemic affecting our youth and tips provided on how to talk to your kids about the health risks of vaping.

This year’s DECA Food Drive is well under way with a record goal of collecting 30,000 lbs of nonperishable food items for the Hunger Task Force. As a Whitnall School District resident, you should
have received
a grocery bag and instruction letter containing information on how you can participate. On Saturday, November 2nd, one hundred Whitnall High School DECA members will be coming through your neighborhoods to collect your donations. Please have your bags out at the end of your driveway by 10 AM. DECA will also be accepting donations in the stadium parking lot from 10
AM - 3
PM on Saturday, November 2nd. Thank you for participating in this Whitnall High School tradition and helping to feed the needy families of southeastern Wisconsin!

Little Falcon Dance Clinic
|
On December 20th, the dance team will be hosting a Little Falcon Dance Clinic - Holiday Clinic for children in grades K-5. The children will learn a routine and perform at the basketball game that night. Please see this

The Whitnall Dance Team is hosting their annual poinsettia and Colectivo coffee fundraisers to help fund their dance season and just in time for your holiday gifts. Funds raised will be put towards competition outfits and travel expenses as well as supplies.

AP Exam fees have been posted in Infinite Campus and are due by February 1st. Please contact Rene Freyer at

or 414-525-8524 if you need additional time to pay for multiple exams. You have until midnight November 14th to cancel or add an exam without an additional fee. After November 15th, there is a $40 cancellation or late fee. To cancel or add, contact Rene Freyer.

Parent Teacher Conferences
|
Parent Teacher Conferences are on November 14th from 4 - 8 PM. Conferences are located in the middle school's East and West Gymnasiums.
|

Boys 7th & 8th grade basketball tryouts begin on Monday, November 4th. Sign up in the guidance department.
Wrestling for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students begins on Monday, November 4th. Sign up in the guidance department.

Parent Teacher Conferences
|
Parent Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Thursday, November 7 from 4 - 6 PM and Friday, November 8, from 12 - 4 PM. Conferences will be by appointment only. You should have received an email from your child’s teacher with instructions on how to sign up for a conference time. Also, please note that Friday, November 8 is a half-day of school for elementary students. Dismissal is at 11:20 AM. There is no YMCA program on half days.

The Box Tops for Education program is changing the way we can earn cash for our school. Going forward, instead of clipping from packages, all box tops will be earned digitally by scanning your receipt. Just download the app and scan from your phone. It’s that easy! Click

PTO Craft and Vendor Fair
|
Join us for the Edgerton PTO's Annual Craft/Vendor Fair & Kids Holiday Shoppe on Saturday, November 16th. Shop over 40 crafters and vendors from 9 AM - 2 PM. While you shop upstairs, your kids can shop the Kids Holiday Shoppe from 9 AM - 12 PM. There will also be concessions, raffles, a bake sale, and pictures with Santa.

The north parking lot was paved and striped this week. This is a staff only parking lot. It is NOT a drop off / pick up lot. The drop off / pick up procedure continues in the south lot only.
The sidewalk along the east side of the school is now open. This is the safe path from Godsell Avenue to our front doors on Janesville Road.

Visit the Lost and Found area during the Parent Teacher Conferences on November 7 and 8. The table will be located in the front (Janesville Road) entrance.
