Case Data & Reporting
As you know, both WMS and WHS transitioned from in-person learning to virtual learning on Wednesday, November 11 (extending through November 29). The data showed a large number of students and staff in isolation and quarantine at those two buildings. The number of staff members out at WMS and WHS, with no substitutes, was the primary reason for the transition. We will continue to publish our case data on Tuesdays and Fridays. During the time that WMS and WHS are in virtual learning, we will hopefully see the number of isolations and quarantines continue to drop. But please be aware that the case data does not capture the number of staff who are out because they have symptoms or because they are awaiting test results. The increase in testing state-wide has led to longer wait times for results and more staff and students in our pending data.

Whether your child is out on quarantine or is in virtual learning, it is important that you continue to report symptoms, close contacts, and positive test results. This is critical to our being able to stay open.
Learning Model Dashboard & Case Data
Our learning model dashboard and our case data can be found by visiting our Reopening Fall 2020 page. The dashboard is updated every Sunday evening. Student and staff case data is updated twice weekly (Friday and Tuesday evenings).

Midterm Grade Reports
High school and middle school midterm progress reports and elementary term 1 grade reports will be available in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal after 4 PM on Friday, November 13, 2020. These grades are intended to offer a “snapshot” of student progress up to this point in the school year. The ‘official’ semester grades are continuously reported throughout the semester, and do not reset or start over in the 2nd quarter. The final semester grades will be posted at the end of semester 1 (late January). Follow the links below to learn how to access your student's grade report in the parent portal.

Health Safety Reminders
If you are picking up a child from school and have another child in quarantine, please utilize the drive through pick up line. The quarantined child should not be outside around other people or on the playground equipment. If they need to accompany you for pick up, please keep them in the car.  We know it is hard to quarantine, especially for kids but this is an extremely important part of mitigating the spread of COVID-19.

We also request that parents wear a face covering on school grounds. While there isn’t a policy that masks should be worn during this pick up time, we are asking that you help us with this safety routine and consider wearing a mask as you are coming out of your vehicle to drop off or meet your child. We also ask that you practice physical distancing when conversing with other parents at arrival and dismissal. We greatly appreciate your partnership with this health and safety issue. If we work together, we can keep the school a safe and healthy place to learn.
Chipotle Fundraiser
The Edgerton PTO is sponsoring a fundraiser at the Hales Corners Chipotle on Monday, November 16th between 4 and 8 PM. Show the flyer or tell the cashier you’re supporting the EES PTO to make sure that 33% of the proceeds will be donated to support our students.  Thank you for your continued support. Chipotle Flyer
Mask Fundraiser

Staying Safe to Stay Open
