Hales Corners Recreation Offerings

Whitnall High School
Coat Drive
Whitnall High School, in conjunction with Fox 6 Coats for Kids, will be having a coat drive November 25th through December 8th. We will be accepting gently used coats to help keep kids warm this winter.
Little Falcon Dance Clinic
On December 20th, the dance team will be hosting a Little Falcon Dance Clinic - Holiday Clinic for children in grades K-5. The children will learn a routine and perform at the basketball game that night. Please see this link   to learn more about this event and access the registration information. 
AP Exams
AP Exam fees have been posted in Infinite Campus and are due by February 1st. Please contact Rene Freyer at [email protected] or 414-525-8524 if you need additional time to pay for multiple exams. You have until midnight November 14th to cancel or add an exam without an additional fee. After November 15th, there is a $40 cancellation or late fee. To cancel or add, contact Rene Freyer.
Whitnall Middle School
FalCanStruction
WMS Student Council will be taking food donations for the second FalCanStruction food drive and contest on the dates below. Donations are given to the Hunger Task Force after December 5th.

DC Trip
Registration needs to close for the May 2020 Washington DC trip for planning and scheduling purposes. Please reach out to Ms. Arcos or Ms. Cusick by November 22nd, 2019 for questions about registering.
Edgerton Elementary
PTO Craft and Vendor Fair
Join us for the Edgerton PTO's Annual Craft/Vendor Fair & Kids Holiday Shoppe tomorrow, Saturday, November 16th. Shop over 40 crafters and vendors from 9 AM - 2 PM. While you shop upstairs, your kids can shop the Kids Holiday Shoppe from 10 AM - 1 PM. There will also be concessions, raffles, a bake sale, and pictures with Santa.
December Concert Dates
Mark your calendar for the December concerts. All concerts will be held in the Whitnall High School Auditorium. The Grade 2 concert will be on Thursday, December 5 at 6 PM and Grade 3 will follow at 7 PM.
After School Enrichment Opportunity
Chess Scholars will be offering an eight class session on Tuesdays after school beginning December 10th. Click here for registration information.

Principal Chat & PTO Meeting
Tuesday, November 19 is the next Principal Chat, held from 6:30-7:00 PM in the library. Join Mrs. Komas for conversation about HCE. Immediately following is the PTO meeting. The PTO meeting is a great way to connect with other parents while learning about the many opportunities sponsored by the PTO.
Before School Student Supervision
As a reminder, student supervision is available starting at 8:20 AM. K4 and K5 students should go to door 6, grades 1 and 2 should go to door 7, and grades 3, 4, and 5 should go to door 12. At 8:30 AM, students may enter any of the previously stated “grade level” doors as well as door 1. Students are greeted at each of these doors.
Construction Update
The backstop for the kickball play area was installed this week. We plan to be able to use the field in the fall of 2020. We need to let the grass grow throughout the upcoming spring and summer.
