Snack Pantry
Research shows that students that have proper nutritious foods throughout the day pay more attention and perform better in class. To attend to this need, we started a Snack Pantry here at WHS a few years ago that is available to all students who are in need of a snack during the school day. When the pandemic hit in spring, we shared the remainder of our inventory with families in our district to help with food insecurity. As a result, the Snack Pantry is running low and we need your help to restock it! See the flyer for additional information!
Model B
What would Model B look like if we all went virtual? For distance learning students, everything remains the same. For in-person students, a “day in the life of… a virtual student” document was posted in Canvas. In this document, on each teacher’s Canvas page, it shares the Google Meet link for all students to join classes and additional information about how the class will operate in a virtual setting. Students and teachers will follow our regular bell schedule. Student attendance including absences will still be reported as is done with in-person learning. Canvas will continue to be the learning management system for all classes.
PSAT / NMSQT
The PSAT/ NMSQT was given to students on the national test date of October 14. Due to unforeseen absences, several students were not able to test on that date. There is an additional test date on Tuesday, January 26. Hr 1 - 4. Any 9th - 11th grade student who did not test on October 14 is eligible to test on this date.

The cost of the test is $17. If you want to register for the PSAT, please contact Rene Freyer (rfreyer@whitnall.com / 414-525-8524). Please register by November 15.
