Reminder | No School 10/24 & 10/25
Remember that there is no school for students on Thursday, October 24 and Friday, October 25.
Internet Safety and Digital Citizenship
Starting at an early age, it is important to establish technology guidelines and prepare students with strategies to make appropriate decisions when using technology. Many parents trust their students to use their technology appropriately. However, when students are engaging in online activities, they often unintentionally encounter other users or inappropriate content that they may not be prepared to manage.

The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction has a 30-minute interactive e-course for parents and guardians to complete with their children with the goal of creating an open dialogue at home around internet safety and digital citizenship.

This 30-minute module provides parents with the opportunity to review their own tech use to set a good example, interactive activities to complete alongside their children, and follow-up resources and activities to keep the discussions going.

Please consider completing the e-course with your students and exploring many of the other resources for parents and families available on the WI DPI website.
