Winter Sports
Attention all aspiring winter sport athletes: Please register for your winter sport by November 7th to guarantee approval prior to the first day of practice. Any registrations after November 7th will forfeit the guarantee of approval for the first day of practice and will be processed on a first come first serve basis, resulting in possible non approval prior to try outs or first day of practice. Please remember that no athlete will be allowed to try out or participate in practice if their registration is not approved by the athletic office. Thank you for your timely completion of this material. Go Falcons!

Development Day
The Whitnall School District will be sponsoring their 21st annual "Whitnall Child Development Day" program on Friday, November 30th. The program combines a developmental screening of preschool children with an opportunity for parents to learn more about child and family related services in the community. All families with 3 year olds residing in the Whitnall School District are welcome to attend. Please complete the form to register. An email will be sent to confirm your registration and appointment time.

Whitnall Middle School
Changes in Weather
With the weather getting colder, please talk with your middle schooler about appropriate dress as we will be going outside as much as possible. Also, when bad/cold weather kicks in, our building can be open for students in the cafeteria, but not until 7:15 AM - please know this when dropping students off early.
Fall Dance
Students have been able to get permission slips all week for the WMS fall dance tonight. The dance is from 7-9 PM. All students need to have a signed permission slip to attend. Please pick up your child at 9 PM.
Robotics
Students can now sign up for Robotics Club though THIS LINK . The link was also shared with all students earlier this week!
PBIS
WMS has an attendance goal of 92% for the month of October - we are currently at 90%. We know that WMS is a great place to be, so let us know if we can help in any way!
Spirit Wear
The WMS PTO is offering middle school spirit wear - please use THIS LINK if you would like to order. Orders can be placed through October 21st.
Staff Appreciation Lunch
The WMS PTO would like to show the staff at WMS that we appreciate them! Please consider donating an item or two for the PTO's first Staff Appreciation Lunch on Friday, October 26. All items should be brought to WMS and labeled "PTO" by Thursday, October 25. Here is the Lunch Sign Up .
Edgerton Elementary
All School Open House
Edgerton's all school open house is scheduled for Wednesday, October 24th from 6-7 PM. Please stop by and visit the classrooms and check out the Edgerton PTO offerings in the gym. The PTO will be holding a raffle for front row concert tickets to your child’s upcoming EES concert. The annual cupcake sale will also be held to help raise funds for the grade 5 camping trip to take place this spring. We'll be sending a sign up if you're interested in donating some cupcakes!

The EES PTO is sponsoring an afternoon/evening of fun at Sky Zone next Thursday, October 25th. Click here for all the details. A portion of all proceeds will be donated to the Edgerton PTO.
Fall Parent Teacher Conferences
Our fall parent teacher conferences are scheduled for Thursday, November 15 from 4-6 PM and Friday, November 16 from 12-4 PM. Conferences will be by appointment. Later this month, you will receive an email from your teacher with instructions for scheduling a time. Also, please note that elementary students will be dismissed at 11:20 AM on Friday, November 16.
Changing Weather
Our Wisconsin weather has taken a turn to much cooler temperatures. Please make sure your children are dressed appropriately for outdoor recess. Thank you!

Hales Corners Elementary
Noon Hour Supervisor Position
Do you enjoy working with children? Want to reenter the workforce but only want limited hours? If so, this is the position for you! HCE is looking for a noon hour supervisor Wednesdays through Fridays, 11:45 AM - 1:15 PM. In addition, we are in need of substitutes for this position. Picture Retakes
Picture Retakes will be held Monday, October 29. Please remember to send the photo packet you received to school with your child. This is required for a retake picture.
Food Drive
Our food drive continues! We are continuing to collect non-perishable food items, as well as monetary donations (checks payable to St. Vincent de Paul), through October 25. The food collected will go to local food pantries and be distributed to families in our community.
Coffee with the Principal
Join Mrs. Komas for coffee and conversation on Thursday, October 25 from 9-10 AM.
Harvest Parade
Our annual Harvest Parade is on Thursday, October 25! The WHS Pep Band will perform for us at 1:45 PM. After the performance, we “parade” along neighboring streets. Students may bring costumes to change into that are not too scary and do not have violent themes. No toy weapons are permitted. Harvest parties will follow the parade.
