As part of Wisconsin’s Child Find requirement, Whitnall School District will continue to carry out the process of identifying, locating, and evaluating children with disabilities. Child Find activities extend to all children attending public and private schools in the district boundaries, as well as children who are homeless. As part of Child Development Day, we invite children who are 3 years old to participate.
Upon completion of this survey, parents will be asked to complete an Ages & Stages Questionnaire, by mail, which is a screening tool that assesses a child’s development in five areas. All survey participants will then be scheduled to an in-person slot on December 10, where the following developmental areas will be screened: speech and language, cognitive, personal-social, adaptive, motor skills, vision and hearing.
There is no cost for the screening. The screening is part of Whitnall's Child Find process to identify children with developmental delays. Participation is voluntary.
If you have a child that is 3 years old and you are interested in participating in the Child Find process, please complete the Google survey. The survey to request a questionnaire will remain open until November 19.

Saturday, November 13, 7 PM
Sunday, November 14, 2 PM
Go here for details and to buy tickets.
Tickets for Whitnall High School students and staff are only $5.00.

The pandemic has increased our homeless population significantly, and the Whitnall community can make a difference. The club will be filling sling sacks with necessary items to assist those that are struggling and in need. Please see the list of suggested items here, and drop off donations at the main entrance to the attention of Ms. Martin or have your student drop them off in room 273.
