What's Up Whitnall?
Check out this week's What's Up Whitnall? from the Athletics and Activities Department!
Developmental Screening
As part of Wisconsin’s Child Find requirement, Whitnall School District will continue to carry out the process of identifying, locating, and evaluating children with disabilities. Child Find activities extend to all children attending public and private schools in the district boundaries, as well as children who are homeless. As part of Child Development Day, we invite children who are 3 years old to participate.

Upon completion of this survey, parents will be asked to complete an Ages & Stages Questionnaire, by mail, which is a screening tool that assesses a child’s development in five areas. All survey participants will then be scheduled to an in-person slot on December 10, where the following developmental areas will be screened: speech and language, cognitive, personal-social, adaptive, motor skills, vision and hearing.

There is no cost for the screening. The screening is part of Whitnall's Child Find process to identify children with developmental delays. Participation is voluntary.

If you have a child that is 3 years old and you are interested in participating in the Child Find process, please complete the Google survey. The survey to request a questionnaire will remain open until November 19.

"The Play That Goes Wrong" | Tickets on Sale!
Don't miss the return of Whitnall High School's live theatre in this fun-filled play. A mix between Monty Python and Sherlock Holmes, this award winning comedy is a 1920s murder mystery, but as the title suggests, everything that can go wrong... does! With an unconscious leading lady, a corpse that can’t play dead, and actors who trip over everything (including their lines), things quickly go from bad to utterly disastrous.

Friday, November 12, 7 PM
Saturday, November 13, 7 PM
Sunday, November 14, 2 PM

Go here for details and to buy tickets.
Tickets for Whitnall High School students and staff are only $5.00.
Proximity & Contact Preferences for Parent Teacher Conferences
As we move back to offering an in-person option for parent teacher conferences, participants may have a range of comfort levels with physical proximity and contact and may find it awkward to let others know their preference.  To help navigate this, we will be using a system to help families and staff communicate preferences. Click here to learn more.
