Learning Model Dashboard & Case Data
Our learning model dashboard and our case data can be found by visiting our Reopening Fall 2020 page. The dashboard is updated every Sunday evening. Student and staff case data is updated twice weekly (Friday and Tuesday evenings).
Whitnall Apparel
Just in time for the holidays, you can get Whitnall gear for you and your loved ones! Orders will be delivered to the Whitnall school of your choice in mid-December, prior to Christmas. The store closes Sunday, November 8th at 11:59 PM. Don't miss out!


Distance Learner Meal Pick Up | November 5
Distance Learner Survey
Families of distance learners - we would like your feedback! You will be receiving a survey via Infinite Campus which will ask for your thoughts on how things have been going in the distance learning platform. We are asking parents of elementary students to complete the survey on behalf of their children, and parents and students in grades 6-12 to fill out the survey together if possible. Please complete and submit this survey by Friday, November 6th at 5 PM. If you do not receive the survey by Tuesday, November 3, please contact Kathie Poss at [email protected].

Parent teacher conferences are November 10th, 4-8 PM with virtual appointments. Please see the October/November News For You for instructions on how to sign up for a virtual conference.
Annual Whitnall DECA Food Drive Has Gone Virtual!
In an effort to promote the health and safety of our great community, this year's Whitnall DECA Food Drive for the Hunger Task Force will be held virtually. If you live in the Whitnall School District you should have received a flyer/letter promoting our annual event. The instructions refer you to a website where you can donate money for this great cause. You can also mail or drop off your donation at Whitnall High School.

Thank you in advance for supporting us in our efforts to help feed the hungry. Since its inception in 2004, the Whitnall DECA Food Drive has collected over 300,000 pounds of food items! The Whitnall community is clearly “All In”!
Senior Pictures & Ads
Senior pictures should be submitted by November 1. Directions to submit can be found by clicking this link. This link also contains information about purchasing senior ads. Contact [email protected] with any questions or concerns.

PSAT / NMSQT
The PSAT/ NMSQT was given to students on the national test date of October 14. Due to unforeseen absences, several students were not able to test on that date. There is an additional test date on Tuesday, January 26. Hr 1 - 4. Any 9th - 11th grade student who did not test on October 14 is eligible to test on this date.
 
The cost of the test is $17. If you want to register for the PSAT, please contact Rene Freyer ([email protected] / 414-525-8524). Please register by November 15.

Parent Teacher Conferences
Parent teacher conferences are November 19th, 4-8 PM with virtual appointments. Instructions for conferences will be sent next week.
PTO Meeting
The WMS PTO meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, November 11th. The meeting will be held at WMS starting at 7 PM. Prior to the meeting, from 6:30 to 7:00 PM, there will be a Principal Chat with Mr. D’Acquisto. More information, including the meeting agenda, to follow.

Parent Teacher Conferences
Parent teacher conferences will be held virtually on November 12 (4:00-6:30 PM) and November 13 (12:00-3:30 PM) by appointment. You should have received  an email from your child’s teacher inviting you to sign up for a conference time. If you need assistance with the sign up, please contact your child’s teacher. Conferences will be held via a Google Meet.  You will receive an email with a link the week of November 9. Please note that Friday, November 13 is an early release day. Students attend from 8:35-11:20 AM. Buses will run as scheduled, however, there is no YMCA program that afternoon.
Student Directory
This year's student directory is complete. PTO members receive a free copy and it will be sent home with your student. Distance learning families can pick up their directory in the school office.
Mask Sale
Support the PTO and mask up in style. EES masks are available to order through November 2nd. They will be sent home with your student during the week of November 16. Click here to order.
Art Supply Pick Up (Distance Learners)
All EES K5-5th grade distance learners should have a family member stop in at school and pick up art supplies. They are located on a cart in the main lobby. Check the posted lists for items to take by grade level.

Student Drop Off & Pick Up Reminders
Be mindful of your speed. Help us keep everyone safe by slowing down. The morning drop off location is along the building and safety sidewalk ONLY. There are signs reminding you where the drop off location begins. The after school pick up location is ONLY along the safety sidewalk.
Veterans Day
Veterans Day is November 11. We are honoring the veterans in the lives of our students and staff. Please share the names of the veterans in your family by completing the attached link HERE by November 6.  You can send a photo in as well. We are compiling a slideshow that will be shared with our students.

PTO’s Scholastic Book Fair will be held virtually November 2 through November 15. All purchases support our school and earn 25% in rewards.
Parent Teacher Conferences
Parent teacher conferences will be held VIRTUALLY November 12 (4:00-6:30 PM) and November 13 (12:00-3:30 PM) by appointment. If you have not yet done so, please sign up for a conference as soon as possible. Once the conference is set, you will receive a Google Meet invitation from your child’s teacher. Friday, November 13 K5-grade 5 students will be dismissed at 11:20 AM.​ K4 students do not have school November 13.
Community T-Shirts 2020-21
Our year long theme will be “Stronger Together” which speaks to the Whitnall School District value of BELONGING. In order to prepare, we are requesting that each student purchase a t-shirt that will be worn on special days throughout the school year. The t-shirt will have our theme printed on it and is a raglan style short sleeve t-shirt with navy sleeves and heather gray body. The cost will be $4 per student. Sign up HERE by October 31.
