HCL Workshop - TODAY!
The Hales Corners Library is hosting a workshop for students in 1st through 6th grade. This is a drop in program with no registration required. Click here for more information.
Speech and Language Screenings
October 1-5, the speech and language pathologists from our elementary schools will be conducting speech and language screenings for all 4-year-old students enrolled or residing in the Whitnall School District. The screening will briefly assess sound production skills, as well as the understanding and expression of language skills.

If you are interested in having your child’s speech and language skills screened, please call Kelly Pluta at 414.525.8953 to set up an appointment.
Immunization Records
It is that time of year again! Health services has been working hard to update records of the student’s immunizations in infinite campus. If your child is not compliant, you will be receiving a letter in the mail to update you on what immunizations are missing. If you choose to sign a waiver, please complete the enclosed student immunization record form. There is a dedicated spot on the bottom for the waiver.

Every year, schools are required to assess all students’ immunization records to determine compliance with the Wisconsin Student Immunization Law, as described in the Wisconsin Student Immunization Law Timeline: Actions Required of Schools (P-01442). Students have until the 30th school day to provide the appropriate documentation of immunization or a signed waiver. Starting on the 31st school day, noncompliant students in kindergarten through grade 5 must be excluded from school if one of the following is true about the school: The school is a public school and the school district’s compliance level from the previous school year was less than 99%. Exclusion is optional for grades 6 through 12 and for schools that met the 99% compliance level in the previous year.

The Whitnall School District’s compliance level was 98.06% which requires us to exclude those students who remain non-compliant on the 31 st . day.

Please take a moment to review your child’s immunization record in infinite campus. Please reach out to Brea Sanders, District Nurse or your school health room with any questions.
Too Sick for School?
With the new school year comes lots of germs. Please review the attached documents for guidelines on when to send your child to school and when to keep them home if they are feeling ill. Please reach out to Brea Sanders, District Nurse or your school health room with any questions.
