Easter Children's Ministries Announcement

This Sunday for Easter ALL children (birth – 4th grade) will start in the service at 9 AM with their parents. After the worship singing, at approximately 9:30, all our care rooms will open.

To make this a smoother transition, please fill out the care forms in the Nursery, Toddler and PreK rooms before the service at 9. Then you can do a quicker drop off at 9:30.

The electronic check-in will be as usual.

There will not be Sunday School this week second hour.

Blessings,

Diane

New Bible Institute Course - "The Writings"

Grow in your knowledge and love of the Old Testament! In May the Bible Institute will offer the last of our four-week OT Survey courses by looking at the books the Hebrew Bible identifies as the “Writings.” The class will provide a simple outline and solid summary of each book, as well as an overview of the role they play in God’s plan of salvation history. You will be able greatly encouraged even if you missed other classes in our OT Survey series.

The classes will be held on four Wednesday nights beginning May 7 from 7:00–8:30 p.m. in the Stewart Lounge. Pastor Greg will be the teacher. For more information, or to sign up, please contact him at ggolden@sangabrielcommunity.org.

2025 Easter Offering

Dear Church Family,

As we have done for many years now, this year’s Easter Offering will go to Global Outreach Ministries.

In the past this special offering has provided funding for projects and opportunities beyond what is in our regular budget. Through your generosity, in past years we have purchased books for the Greek Bible College library, provided funding for relief ministries in Ukraine, paid for missionary visitations, enabled missionaries to attend conferences, provided earthquake relief in Morocco and many other things. You will find giving envelopes in your Sunday bulletin.

Thank you for your support and generosity,

Pastor Dave

Apply for the Hemphill Scholarship

In 1969, we established the W. Joseph Hemphill Scholarship Fund. The purpose of this fund is to give supplemental aid to qualified young people to help them enter into, continue with, and accelerate preparation toward a full-time Christian vocation. If you are a college or graduate student, pursuing a full-time career in ministry or missions, please contact Pastor Dave Halverson at dhalverson@sangabrielcommunity.org to request an application. Applications are due Sunday, April 20.

Lost & Found

Have you lost a Bible recently? We have received a couple of Bibles in our lost and found. Check out the Welcome Table on Sunday Morning to come and collect your lost items. Thank you!

Assistive Listening System Available in Sanctuary

We offer an Assistive Listening System in the Sanctuary for those that have mild to moderate hearing loss. These small devices will provide direct audio during the entire worship service and will allow you to adjust the volume to meet your individual needs. You must sit in the main center section of the sanctuary to use the system. The system is not available in the North or South chapels.

If you would like to take advantage of this new system, please stop by the sound booth.

Service Opportunities

Student Ministry Snacks Needed!

We love offering snacks at our weekly Wednesday night program, Rush Hour, that meets from 7:00 - 8:45 p.m. Our Jr. High and High School students enjoy

a time of games, worship, and teaching with our Student Ministries staff.

Would you consider helping us provide snacks for our students?

(for Wednesdays and/or Sunday mornings, for 20-25 people)

What snacks can I drop off?: Student favorites include individually wrapped chips, crackers, cookies, and fruit snacks! It's extra helpful if they are individually wrapped bags, which keeps the unused snacks fresh, so we can use them anytime! If you'd like to bake something homemade, just give us a heads up so we know when it's coming!

When can I drop off?: You can drop them off anytime during the week.

Where do I drop off?: You can drop off at the front desk of the office.

Please email Jonathan (jbalentine@sangabrielcommunity.org) for more info. Thanks!
