Prayer and Praise

We are now focusing our attention on obtaining a visa for our return to Italy. It turns out that neither the Italian consulate in Los Angeles nor the one in San Francisco are able to even schedule an appointment for us to apply, so we're heading to Iowa on September 3rd (Lord willing) to reestablish our residency there in order to apply through the Chicago consulate where we already have an appointment booked for October 23rd at 11:00am. 

We praise the Lord for supplying our needs and are blessed to see the generous hearts of his people. Please continue to labor with us in your prayers and in whatever opportunities you may have to visit us in the future!

Please pray for our visa application: We've seen the hand of God already in this as He's directed us back to the Midwest through this issue. We are also waiting on a key document which it seems we will be able to get through the generous help of a religious entity recognized by the Italian government. This document is essentially an invitation to come to Italy as a religious worker. This agency helped us in the past and has expressed a willingness to continue doing so. We are grateful to God for their help. Please pray it all works out on October 23rd and for our patience and wisdom in jumping through all the bureaucratic hoops. These challenges are not usually as exciting as what we read about in the book of Acts, but they are still opportunities to trust in God and see him work.
