Pickleball For All - Hosted by the Young Adults

Saturday, January 10, 1:30 - 4:30 p.m.| The Gym

Join us for another round of fellowship and pickleball! Whether you’ve never played before and want to try it out, or you are a pickleball pro, come join us! Much like last time, we will set up 3 different courts in the gym (beginner, intermediate, and advanced) so you can play at your speed. All ages are welcome; parents please supervise your children and help them out on the ‘beginner’ courts. Don’t forget your water bottles.

Ministry Highlights

Campus Closed for Christmas & New Year

Our campus will be closed Monday, December 22, through Friday, January 2, for the Holidays.

We will resume normal hours on Monday, January 5, 2026.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to you all!

Pulpit Flowers for 2026

2026 Pulpit flower sign-ups are now open! Sign up to provide flowers for the pulpit on a Sunday morning.

Arrangements cost $45 and Fanny’s Flowers will deliver them to the church before the Worship Service. Following the service you get to take the flowers home! We’ll include your name in the Bulletin, as well as the name of the loved one/occasion you are remembering or honoring. To sign up, click below.

Master Plan Update

Master Plan — Phase 3 Update

We are excited to announce the launch of Phase 3 of our Master Plan!

This next phase focuses on two key objectives:

• Reflecting the beauty and glory of God throughout our campus

• Creating accessible adult classroom space

As part of this project, we will be installing an elevator near the Administration building, providing second-story access to both the Administration and Palin buildings. A connecting bridge will also be constructed between the two structures to enhance accessibility.

The estimated budget for this phase is $750,000.00.

We invite you to prayerfully consider how you might partner with us and contribute to this project.

We are so thankful for all that the Lord is doing on our campus.

Christmas Offering

From now until the end of 2025, we will be collecting a special Christmas Offering.

This year, our Christmas Offering will go to Worship Ministries. We have a number of pieces of music and sound equipment that need to be repaired or replaced to make our Sunday services in the Sanctuary and mid-week ministries in the Palin building more effective.

Please pray and prepare your offering as the Lord leads.

Special envelopes will be in your Bulletin this Sunday, 12.7 and next Sunday, 12.14, and are available in the Sanctuary lobby. You may also mail checks to the church with “Christmas Offering” noted on the memo line.

For giving online, you can select “Christmas Offering” from the drop-down menu.

Year-End Giving Information

The effective date of a contribution is when it is delivered to the Church. A check deposited in the offering in January of 2026 cannot be deducted in 2025, even if it is backdated to 2025. Checks that are mailed to the Church and postmarked by December 31, 2025 are deductible in 2025 even though not received by the Church until 2026. On-line gifts finalized by December 31, 2025 are deductible in 2025 even though not received by the Church until 2026.

If you have any questions regarding this, please contact Katelyn Parsons at kparsons@sangabrielcommunity.org.

Evangelism Resources Available

In the Church Library there is a special display case with pastor approved evangelism materials.

Please help yourself and share the good news!

Book of the Week

Meg is Not Alone

Megan Hill & Samara Hardy

Ages 3-7

Meg's parents accidentally leave her at church after the morning service, which makes her feel scared. But Meg is not alone, various people in the church stay with her until her dad returns. These church friends care for her by giving her things like tissues, cookies and storybook, and she learns how to be a church friend to others, This children's book highlights Jesus's command to "love one another," showing kids taht God dhas provided the local church to be their loving community.

anTGC Kids Book.

Assistive Listening System Available in Sanctuary

We offer an Assistive Listening System in the Sanctuary for those that have mild to moderate hearing loss. These small devices will provide direct audio during the entire worship service and will allow you to adjust the volume to meet your individual needs. You must sit in the main center section of the sanctuary to use the system. The system is not available in the North or South chapels.

If you would like to take advantage of this new system, please stop by the sound booth.

Greg & Kathleen Parsons

Frontier Ventures

  • Praise our Father for Kathleen’s continued healing. Pray that will continue as we enjoy Christmas with family (and little ones!).

  • Praise the Lord for great family get togethers recently. First, with Kathleen's brother and his wife (who visited us here) and before that, Greg’s brother and his wife, and sister enjoyed 3 days in Yosemite. It is more precious than ever to have these times together.

  • Pray as opportunities abound for 2026. Greg will go to Dallas and Thailand in January for mission events. Then to Spain and San Diego in February. He will be teaching at least 3 Perspectives classes in the LA area as well, with more travel later in the Spring.

  • Pray for continued solid financial backing for our ministry.
