Sunday, June 29th, After the Worship Service | The Sanctuary

All are welcome to stay after the Worship Service for our Annual Meeting on June 29th. Members will vote to approve our 2025-2026 Elders and Budgets, and then we will all enjoy our Annual Slideshow and have a time of refreshment as we unveil the new Courtyard! We hope you’ll join us.

A Celebration of God’s Faithfulness and Pastor Greg’s Retirement

Sunday, June 29th, 5:00p.m. | Gym

Join us this Sunday, for a special All-Church Dinner as we celebrate the retirement of Pastor Greg Golden and give thanks for his many years of faithful service to San Gabriel Community Church.

This evening will be a joyful reflection of God’s faithfulness to our church and the legacy of faith, care, and leadership Pastor Greg has modeled so well.

We’ll enjoy a meal together featuring some of Pastor Greg’s favorite things—both on the plate and in the program!

Whether you’ve known Pastor Greg for decades or just a short while, come and be part of this meaningful evening as we honor his ministry and celebrate all that God has done.

We hope to see you there!

Backyard BBQs

Various Weekends in July | Various Homes

Backyard BBQs are a great opportunity for people to connect and spend time with their church family this July. We are hoping that God uses this time to help people make new connections and deepen relationships. We hope you sign up to attend one!

Ministry Highlights

Church Office News

This week Natalie Halverson concludes her time with us as Administrative Assistant on Tuesdays and Thursdays to begin a new season as a stay-at-home mom. We are grateful for her ministry and will miss her in the office! But we are so happy for the things the Lord has ahead for her and her family.

Beginning next week, Cristina Peterson will join the team as Administrative Assistant and cover the hours Natalie was serving those two days. She will also oversee the all-church events that occur on selected evenings and weekends. We have been so appreciative for the ways Cristina has volunteered over the years and are pleased to officially welcome her to the office staff!

Trace Paniagua will continue to wonderfully serve as Administrative Assistant on Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays. Thank you, Trace, for your faithful ministry to the church family!

Trainor's Mission in Italy

Come to our home (very close to church) to enjoy fellowship and hear about our mission in Italy. We'll be explaining the spiritual needs of Italy and how we'll be working with a great ministry doing church planting. We'll also share our financial goals, but please come regardless of whether you plan to support us or not (or even if you already do). Our time in the US is growing short, so come see us!

A Semester in Greece

The International Student Program (ISP) at the Greek Bible College offers English-speaking students a one or two semester study experience in Greece, where much of the New Testament originated. Grow in your walk with the Lord and clarify

your life direction by:

Discovering your God-given gifts in a personalized ministry experience (refugee ministry, gypsy outreach, human trafficking relief, drug rehab, sailing ministry, sports outreach and children’s work)
Learning Greek in the land where the language was born
Diving deep into God’s Word in a stimulating college classroom environment
Traveling to ancient sites, island destinations and neighboring countries
Earning up to 39 hours of college credit

Assistive Listening System Available in Sanctuary

We offer an Assistive Listening System in the Sanctuary for those that have mild to moderate hearing loss. These small devices will provide direct audio during the entire worship service and will allow you to adjust the volume to meet your individual needs. You must sit in the main center section of the sanctuary to use the system. The system is not available in the North or South chapels.

If you would like to take advantage of this new system, please stop by the sound booth.

World Team France

Sophia has her end-of-year written exams this Thursday and Friday (she already completed the oral portion a few weeks ago). We’d appreciate your prayers for peace and clarity of mind, especially as she's been dealing with a fever these last couple of days.
All three kids finished the school year strong, with each of them at or near the top of their class. Their teachers continue to express appreciation for their character and diligence, as reflected in their report cards.
Pray for Laura and the kids as they return to the U.S.: that they would enjoy rest, renewal, and sweet time with family and friends.
Pray for me as I stay behind in France to support the arrival of two new families joining World Team France, helping them begin this journey with confidence and care.
