Operation Christmas Child

This is the last Sunday to turn in a box


Please join us in packing shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child. 


Since 1993, more than 188 million children in more than 170 countries and territories have received an Operation Christmas Child shoe box.


The project delivers not only the joy of what, for many kids, is their first gift ever, but also gives them a tangible expression of God’s love.


Boxes will be available this Sunday through Sunday 11.16, outside the Sanctuary.

Thanksgiving Eve Service & Pie Fellowship

November 26th, 7:00p.m.


We hope you join us for a time of giving thanks and fellowship at this year's Thanksgiving Eve Service in the Sanctuary. There will be a Pie Fellowship in the Basement following the service. Hope to see you there!


We are always so blessed by the pies our church body brings to the Pie Fellowship. If you're planning, or want to bring a pie, let us know by clicking the link below. We ask you bring your pies pre-cut and NO nuts. You're welcome to leave the pies in the Basement before the service starts.

Please join us for the All-Church Fellowship Hour the Sunday after Thanksgiving! Grab a cup of coffee and a donut and spend some time in fellowship with your church family. What a wonderful way to kick off the holiday season.

Thanksgiving Offering


This year our Thanksgiving offering will go toward a special Christmas gift for our missionaries. Receiving this offering at Thanksgiving enables us to send the gifts to our missionaries in time for Christmas. These gifts are above and beyond our usual monthly financial support. Please pray and prepare your offering as the Lord leads.


Special envelopes will be in your Church Bulletin November 9 & 16. You may also mail checks to the church with “Thanksgiving Offering” noted on the memo line. For giving online, you can select “Thanksgiving Offering” from the drop-down menu.
 

Christmas Cards for our Missionaries


This year, we would like to send Christmas greetings in the form of cards to all our missionaries along with the special offering we will be taking during the Thanksgiving season. Throughout the month of November, a list of all our missionaries along with Christmas cards are available in the Sunday school classes.  If you would like to send one to a particular missionary that you feel connected with, that is appreciated! If you would like to send one to all of our missionaries, that’s great too. Please send cards to as many missionaries as you would like.


The deadline to return the cards is November 30.

Fool Moon Rising

Through this illustrated tale about the moon stealing the sun's glory, children learn about the importance of humility and the dangers of pride.


This rhyming, rollicking tale tells of a crime of cosmic proportions: the moon, blinded by pride, fails to see the true source of his abilities-the light provided by the sun. He boasts of his ability to shine, to change shape throughout each month, and to swell the tides. One day, overwhelmed by a piercing ray of sunshine, the moon repents of his pride and changes his ways, and from that point on he is happy to reflect the sun's light.



This beautifully illustrated book introduces the concept of humility to children. Readers will be reminded that everything we have, including our gifts and talents, is from God. Just as the moon learns to boast only of the sun, children-and their parents-learn that to boast of anything other than the Son is utter foolishness.

Assistive Listening System Available in Sanctuary


We offer an Assistive Listening System in the Sanctuary for those that have mild to moderate hearing loss. These small devices will provide direct audio during the entire worship service and will allow you to adjust the volume to meet your individual needs. You must sit in the main center section of the sanctuary to use the system. The system is not available in the North or South chapels.

 

If you would like to take advantage of this new system, please stop by the sound booth.

  • Please continue to pray for Laura as she is currently back in the United States receiving medical care and rest. This has been a long journey for her, and we’re hopeful that this season will bring real relief from the chronic pain and fatigue she has carried for so long.
