Operation Christmas Child

Sunday, October 26th - November 16th, 8:15 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.|

Sanctuary North Entrance

Please join us in packing shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child.

Since 1993, more than 188 million children in more than 170 countries and territories have received an Operation Christmas Child shoe box.

The project delivers not only the joy of what, for many kids, is their first gift ever, but also gives them a tangible expression of God’s love.

Boxes will be available this Sunday through Sunday 11.16, outside the Sanctuary.

Click on the button below to find out how to pack a shoe box. Please fill your box and return to Carol & Mo Nakatsui by Sunday, November 16th.

If you have any questions, email Carol Nakatsui at occnakatsui@gmail.com

We are always so blessed by the pies our church body brings to the Pie Fellowship. If you're planning, or want to bring a pie, let us know by clicking the link below. We ask you bring your pies pre-cut and NO nuts. You're welcome to leave the pies in the Basement before the service starts.

All-Church Fellowship Hour

November 30th, Sunday School Hour | The Gym

Please join us for the All-Church Fellowship Hour the Sunday after Thanksgiving! Grab a cup of coffee and a donut and spend some time in fellowship with your church family. What a wonderful way to kick off the holiday season.

Thank You

Dear Church Family,

My heart is bursting with love for each one of you. You have reflected our Lord Jesus Christ in such a beautiful way into our lives. You have walked alongside our family as we walked through the valley of the shadow of death. You filled our home with prayer, praise, music, flowers, cards, joy and love. I am so thankful for your phone calls, and visits. God is so good.

Thank you!

Veronica Martin

Campus Closed

The campus will be closed Tuesday, November 11, 2025, for Veterans Day. We will resume normal operating hours, Wednesday, November 12, 2025.

Ministry Highlights

Thanksgiving Offering

This year our Thanksgiving offering will go toward a special Christmas gift for our missionaries. Receiving this offering at Thanksgiving enables us to send the gifts to our missionaries in time for Christmas. These gifts are above and beyond our usual monthly financial support. Please pray and prepare your offering as the Lord leads.

Special envelopes will be in your Church Bulletin November 9 & 16. You may also mail checks to the church with “Thanksgiving Offering” noted on the memo line. For giving online, you can select “Thanksgiving Offering” from the drop-down menu.

Christmas Cards for our Missionaries

This year, we would like to send Christmas greetings in the form of cards to all our missionaries along with the special offering we will be taking during the Thanksgiving season. Throughout the month of November, a list of all our missionaries along with Christmas cards are available in the Sunday school classes.  If you would like to send one to a particular missionary that you feel connected with, that is appreciated! If you would like to send one to all of our missionaries, that’s great too. Please send cards to as many missionaries as you would like.

The deadline to return the cards is November 30.

Book of the Week

Daniel and the

Very Hungry Lions

Tim Thornborough & Jennifer Davison

Ages 2-4

Teach children that God is the one true God who lives forever with the story of Daniel and the lion’s den.

In this faithful and fun retelling of a classic Bible story, children will discover how God protected his faithful servant, Daniel from the very hungry lions.

Along with King Darius, children will learn

that God is the one true God who lives

forever.

Assistive Listening System Available in Sanctuary

We offer an Assistive Listening System in the Sanctuary for those that have mild to moderate hearing loss. These small devices will provide direct audio during the entire worship service and will allow you to adjust the volume to meet your individual needs. You must sit in the main center section of the sanctuary to use the system. The system is not available in the North or South chapels.

If you would like to take advantage of this new system, please stop by the sound booth.

Prayer and Praise

  • My daughter-in-law Lydia just started 20 days of radiation treatment after successful treatment for cancer.

  • Still more delays in getting the donated helicopter into Thailand by Titus' team. Pray for quick resolution.

  • Praise for chance to minister to the Thai in New Zealand.

  • I start teaching Counseling and General Epistles courses next week.

  • During an hour wait in the Aukland airport, I sat next to a 22 year old Kiwi girl named Cassidy who had just been to Thailand. I chatted with her about her trip to Thailand and her interest in Colorado (where my family has a cabin). As I sat down in the plane, to my amazement, Cassidy sat next to me and said, "Sir, I'm not stalking you." I knew this was a divine appointment and decided to have her read my testimony and calling to Thailand from my book: Help My Halo is Slipping. I picked out just one chapter to read and when I saw her go on to read a couple more I said, "Didn't I tell you to read just one chapter?" For 45 minutes she kept reading my book and I was able to give her the URL for my website and my email. Do pray her curiosity would result in her conversion.
