Ministry Highlights

Fire Relief Fund

Dear Church Family,

You have responded so generously, not only with your giving, but also with your love and care for the members of our congregation who were impacted by the fires in January. Because of your generosity, we are no longer needing to receive additional monies for the Fire Relief Fund and have removed the drop down option from the online giving page.

Thank you,

Pastor Dave

Evangelism Resources Available

In the Church Library there is a special display case with pastor approved evangelism materials.

SGCC Children's Ministries

Book of the Week

His Grace is Enough

by Melissa Kruger & Isobel Lundie

This illustrated, rhyming book will help parents explain to children the unique and wonderful Christian message of God's grace, that Jesus offers forgiveness and allows us to move on from our mistakes.

It can be used to share the heart of the Christian faith with children or to remind them that Jesus is the person to run to when they mess up. Children will learn that God's grace is enough to cleanse and change us every day.

Assistive Listening System Available in Sanctuary

We offer an Assistive Listening System in the Sanctuary for those that have mild to moderate hearing loss. These small devices will provide direct audio during the entire worship service and will allow you to adjust the volume to meet your individual needs. You must sit in the main center section of the sanctuary to use the system. The system is not available in the North or South chapels.

If you would like to take advantage of this new system, please stop by the sound booth.

Sign Up for Pulpit Flowers

Sign up to provide flowers on Sunday morning! Arrangements cost $45; Fanny’s Flowers will deliver them to the church before the Worship Service.

The arrangement is yours to take home after the service.

Please make checks out to “SGCC” and mail to the church. Scan the QR code below to sign-up.

Prayer and Praise

Please pray for our church's outreach happening in Azzano Decimo (the town we will be returning to hopefully in November).

Pray that/for:

  • The people who take Bibles and other literature would read them
  • Development of relationships with non-believers
  • Long term witness to the city of Azzano Decimo
  • Openness in the hearts of passerbys to have conversations (even after the event is over)
  • Please pray for our visa appointment on October 23rd.

Thank you so much to all of you who helped us with the logistics of moving out of our apartment! You made a difficult and sorrowful task much easier. So many of you (both in San Gabriel and in other parts) have helped us in uncountable ways. We praise the Lord for your zealous and generous hearts in the fulfillment of the Great Commission. May the Lord reward you all richly as you work for his glory!
