Prayer and Praise

Steve & Sally Hagman

Operation Mobilization

Prayer and Praises from our trip.

Met with a physical therapist I mentored several years ago. I gave her an English Arabic Bible and she was excited to receive it, “I have been thinking about reading the Bible”. Pray for this precious friend.

Praying for Sheba in Salalah This is part of the Isaiah 60 prayer Initiative. We had an 8-hour prayer day where we invited several workers in the region to pray and share. It was exciting to hear that one of them will be starting the work of translating the scriptures into Mahri. The Mahra is an unreached people group we prayed for extensively last year during a prayer journey and one of the things we specifically prayed for was scripture translation. Praise God for a prompt answer to pray. Pray for the scripture translation process.

We were at the Oman Yemen border, praying for an end to the war, violence, that food and medical supplies can get in. We took communion nearby. Pray for the war and violence to stop. We hear that the Yemeni church is growing, but under persecution. Pray for the believers

Pray for the peoples of this region of Sheba to know Him. Sheba encompasses south western Oman, Yemen, southern Saudi.

In two weeks, we drove 5113 km. We traveled with another couple who were looking to take prayer groups into the country. God protected us from all the aggressive drivers on the road. Steve was successful in filming and gathering info to create prayer videos. We met with and prayed for isolated workers in a couple of cities. We read aloud Isaiah 60 almost everyday - God was able to reveal different things to us each day. We spent time in prayer and worship each day in all the cities visited. They were all small cities.

Steve and I were in the desert and we came upon a Saudi couple. They invited us for dinner the next night. We found out they have met a worker couple in a nearby city, encouraging us for only God can provide such opportunities. We hope they will be able to meet. Pray for this young couple, she is expecting a baby in December, as with the other worker couple.

We were able to enter Medina. Steve was able to pray for healing for a man we met there. Pray this man will receive healing through the only One that heals, our Great God.

In the next weeks, Steve will be working on all these videos. The next prayer journey, part of the Isaiah 60 prayer initiative, will be the beginning of February in Northern Saudi. Praying for Midian.

I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the LORD!” (Psalm 122:1)

To encourage us to prepare our hearts for worship,
