Operation Christmas Child

Join us in packing shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child! Since 1993, more than 188 million children in more than 170 countries and territories have received an Operation Christmas Child shoe box. The project delivers not only the joy of what, for many kids, is their first gift ever, but also gives them a tangible expression of God’s love.

Boxes will be available this Sunday, outside in the breezeway between the Sanctuary and Admin Building. Click the button to find out how to pack a shoe box. Please fill your box and return to Carol & Mo Nakatsui by 11/17.

If you have any questions, email Carol Nakatsui at occnakatsui@gmail.com

Book of the Week

The Awesome Super Fantastic Forever Party:

A True Story about Heaven, Jesus, and the Best Invitation of All

By Joni Eareckson Tada, Catalina Echeverri

Ages 4-8

What will heaven be like? Answering this question for kids can be challenging, especially as it's hard to get past the myths.

This beautifully illustrated, biblically faithful storybook excites children with this truth—that when Jesus comes back to this world, he will bring heaven with him! There will be a new creation where we’ll have new hearts and a new body, living in a new city. And best of all, we’ll be with Jesus, forever! It will be better than we can ever imagine.

Kids are encouraged to respond to Jesus’ invitation personally by repenting and believing. They will also be inspired to invite others, and to ask Jesus to come soon.

Assistive Listening System Available in Sanctuary

We offer an Assistive Listening System in the Sanctuary for those that have mild to moderate hearing loss. These small devices will provide direct audio during the entire worship service and will allow you to adjust the volume to meet your individual needs. You must sit in the main center section of the sanctuary to use the system. The system is not available in the North or South chapels.

If you would like to take advantage of this new system, please stop by the sound booth.
