Operation Christmas Child

Join us in packing shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child! Since 1993, more than 188 million children in more than 170 countries and territories have received an Operation Christmas Child shoe box. The project delivers not only the joy of what, for many kids, is their first gift ever, but also gives them a tangible expression of God’s love.

Boxes will be available this Sunday, outside in the breezeway between the Sanctuary and Admin Building. Click the button to find out how to pack a shoe box. Please fill your box and return to Carol & Mo Nakatsui by Sunday, November 17th.

If you have any questions, email Carol Nakatsui at occnakatsui@gmail.com

Book of the Week

The Big Wide Welcome Storybook: A True Story About Jesus, James, and a Church That Learned to Love All Sorts of People

By Trillia J. Newbell, Catalina Echeverri

Ages 3-8

This beautiful hardback Bible storybook for 3-8-year-olds uses the Bible's teaching on favoritism from James chapter 2 to encourage children to love and welcome people regardless of their wealth, personality or background, just like Jesus does.

Jesus knows that everyone needs him to rescue them from their sin, and he welcomes anyone who is sorry and asks to be his friend. In this book, children will learn that Christians and churches are called to be like Jesus: to give a big, wide welcome to all kinds of people so that they can hear the good news for themselves.

Assistive Listening System Available in Sanctuary

We offer an Assistive Listening System in the Sanctuary for those that have mild to moderate hearing loss. These small devices will provide direct audio during the entire worship service and will allow you to adjust the volume to meet your individual needs. You must sit in the main center section of the sanctuary to use the system. The system is not available in the North or South chapels.

If you would like to take advantage of this new system, please stop by the sound booth.
