2024 Resurrection Sunday Choir

We’re putting together an informal choir to sing along with the Worship Team this Easter! Much like we did last year, we’ll set up the risers and get a whole group of singers together to add to our big Resurrection Sunday morning service on Sunday, March 31st at 9am!

There are three mandatory rehearsals for all aspiring participants:

Tuesday, March 26, 7-8:45pm

Saturday, March 30, 9-11am

Sunday, March 31, 7:30-8:30am

No audition or previous experience is required. Open to 7th grade and up.

Contact Donny Hoover (dhoover@sangabrielcommunity.org) if you’re interested in participating.

Last day to sign up is Sunday, March 10th.

Come Visit the Lost & Found

Our Sanctuary Lost and Found box is overflowing with Bibles, notebooks and umbrellas. Please stop by the Welcome Table and claim your items over the next 2 weeks before they are donated. Thank you!

Master Plan Update

With the recent completion of the S16 Children’s space, the Master Plan Committee was pleased to bring Phase One to a close! We thank God for his kindness and the congregation for their financial and prayerful generosity. Through your giving, we were able to complete the Nursery and Mothers’ Room/conference room renovations, the Toddler Room, the Children’s Ministry space, refresh P24 with new technology and rebuild A25 as an Adult Education space, as well as upgrade windows, floors, hallways, and many other details that benefit the church and school.

We currently are waiting on calculations and bids for the revised Courtyard plan and an elevator/lift and will present Phase Two details to the congregation once the Elders have approved them. While there are some funds left in the Master Plan budget, the majority has been spent, so most of Phase Two will require additional fundraising to start work.

We thank God for the gift of this campus! To give to the Master Plan, envelopes are in the lobby or click on the Giving page on the website.

Student Ministries needs your snacks!

We love offering snacks at our weekly Wednesday night program, rushOUR, that meets from 7:00 - 8:45pm. Our Jr. High and High School students enjoy a time of games, worship, and teaching with our Student Ministries staff.

Would you consider helping us provide snacks for our students? (for Wednesdays and/or Sunday mornings)

It can be store-bought chips, cookies, fruit snacks, etc. or even home-made snacks! You can drop them off during the week in the office, or even leave them in the café on Sundays (clearly marked ’Student Ministries’).

You can also sign up via the button below for a more specific date.

For any additional info, please email Donny Hoover at dhoover@sangabrielcommunity.org

Praise

A small group of men and women are getting more involved in church leadership.

Prayer

Our team has undergone a huge transition in the last two years, and we saw three full-time teammates leave and 10 new part-time team members join.

Please pray for the leadership team and my work caring for missionaries and for our local church.

Thank you for the incredibly generous Christmas check!

I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the LORD!” (Psalm 122:1)
