In Children’s Ministries we believe that when children know God, they will love God and as a result, trust God. We aspire to accomplish these goals through teaching and programs that contain engaging Bible stories, creative activities, singing, playtime, prayer and special events. All of our curriculum is Bible-based and Christ-centered. We like to say, “We teach big truths kids can grow into and not watered down truths they will grow out of.”
Our ministry is growing! We praise God for the roughly 60 children, ages birth through 6th grade who come to church each week. We also see an average of one new family every Sunday visiting our church. It takes more than 100 volunteers and five staff to run our ministry every month.
Upcoming Events: Family Easter-Countdown Event on March 23rd with brunch, Easter story, treasure hunt and free countdown take-home bags for every family. This year’s VBS is June 11-14, 3:00-5:00 p.m. The theme is “The Perfect 10: Knowing God through the Ten Commandments.”
Prayer Requests: Pray for our parents as they strive to teach their little ones about the Lord. Pray that the Lord would soften the hearts of our students so that they would know, love and trust God. Pray for our teachers who faithfully serve. Pray for ways you might serve in this ministry – we are always in need of more helpers.

Pastor Dave Halverson
Please keep Pastor Dave in prayer as he travels to Malta, February 25 - March 3, as he attends a networking conference related to missions in North Africa.
Lighthouse Arab World
Also, several members of the Lighthouse Arab World team are in Nashville this week for the National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) Conference. Pray for divine appointments for networking, partnership and funding sources.
Belight.FM, the radio ministry of Lighthouse Arab World, is one of the main reasons for their participation in the NRB Conference. Belight.FM hopes to begin broadcasting Growing in Grace this spring.
Another reason is the dubbing and translation work that the Lighthouse team has been doing of The Chosen into four Arabic dialects. God has used the networking relationships of the Lighthouse leadership, to negotiate an agreement with the largest tv channel in the Middle East to broadcast the The Chosen. Pray that God would use the Arabic versions of The Chosen to create a desire to read The Book about Jesus and open hearts to believe the gospel of Jesus.
