Nigeria Prayer Update
Greetings in the Lord!
I am so grateful to God for the opportunity He has granted to me this summer! I have just finished my training at SIM’s headquarters in Charlotte, NC, and
God willing, I will be spending the next 10 weeks in Jos, Nigeria with the organization SIM.
To recount the Lord’s faithfulness as seen in this specific opportunity would require a very long newsletter (praise God for that!), but I want to invite you to rejoice with me in His kind sovereignty and pray for me in my travels.
The journey with SIM and Nigeria began when I picked up a pamphlet at Biola University’s annual Missions Conference last March. I remember sitting down in the cafeteria and intently reading it during a break between the conference sessions.
432 days later, God has wonderfully opened every door necessary for my time as a short-term associate (STA) with SIM.
I praise God for abundantly providing for all my financial needs and beyond (God has convicted me for the lack of trust I had in this area just a few months ago).
I also praise God for blessing me with all of your kindness and encouragement over countless phone calls, texts and conversations. Some of you have been involved from the very beginning of this process, others in the past few months as I considered placement options, and still others in just the last few days.
I thank each and every one of you for your genuine love for me and your interest in what God is doing around the world. I feel very small in light of this glorious, worthy God I serve, yet He is pleased to use me (and you!) for the proclamation of His glory.
