Men with Mugs | July 20th

Men’s Ministries would like to invite the men of SGCC to Men with Mugs.

We encourage men of all ages to join us on Saturday, July 20th at 8:00 a.m. for a time of fellowship and encouragement.

We will meet at the following locations:

• Starbucks on Rosemead and Duarte
• Cloverleaf in Temple City
• Peet’s in Hastings Ranch

This Sunday: Larry Dinkins

Larry will be sharing this Sunday in the Horizons Class during the Sunday School Hour.

Backyard BBQ's

Backyard BBQs are a great opportunity for people to connect and spend time with their church family this July. We are hoping that God uses this time to help people make new connections and deepen relationships. We hope you sign up to attend one!

Help us "Stuff the Bus" with new school supplies for Roosevelt Elementary in San Gabriel! 

Composition books, Crayola crayons, colored pencils, glue sticks, Elmer's glue, pencils, sharpeners, erasers, and Scotch tape are appreciated.

Drop items in the school bus in the Sanctuary Lobby anytime in July.

Randy & Sandy Moyer - Crossworld France

A couple of weeks ago, a dear friend, Rébecca was baptized. Last spring, she attended an evangelistic meeting led by Philippe, a young man from our church, whom we have known since he was 8 years old! God has given Philippe many gifts, including the one of evangelist.

As he was finishing his message, he asked those in the audience, who felt God stirring their hearts, to come forward. As Rébecca was sharing her testimony with us the other day in our home, she said to us, “I just had to go forward!” That evening, she gave her life to Jesus! She is being discipled by Melissa, our pastor’s wife and three months ago, she made the decision to be baptized.

Would you please pray for Rébecca's growth in the Lord and that she would share the Gospel with others. Would you also pray for her 40+ guests and family members who accepted her invitation to be present for the baptism even though only one couple and their son are believers. Please pray that God will work in the hearts of those that heard Philippe's evangelistic message. 

May Melissa and the local church have more opportunities to share with Gospel. May hearts be drawn to Himself!

Pray that the Lord will give all of us who love Him opportunities to share Jesus with those who are seeking Him. Thank you!
