Spanish Ministry - Sept. 15th

Spanish Language Sunday School Course

On September 15, 2024, we will be offering a Sunday School class for Spanish-speakers. In this 14 week course, we will be going through John MacArthur’s Fundamentals of the Faith: 13 lessons to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. It will take place during the 11:00 am Sunday school hour in the north chapel (right hand section of the front of the main sanctuary). Curso de Escuela Dominical en Español

El 15 de septiembre de 2024 ofreceremos una clase de escuela dominical en español. En este curso de 14 semanas, analizaremos los Fundamentos de la Fe: 13 lecciones para crecer en la gracia y el conocimiento de Jesucristo (escrito por John MacArthur). La clase se llevará a cabo durante el horario de escuela dominical (11:00 de la mañana en los domingos) en la sección a mano derecha del frente del santuario principal (la capilla norte). Praise God for Evangelism Opportunities in the Last Six Months!

We shared the Gospel via the internet/social media with about 5400 individuals in the country, 1,080 responded and we had a spiritual conversation, 320 asked important questions and were very interested, we met face to face with 56 of them.

We sent about 450 Bibles to people in the country, 35 of the people evangelized joined home churches. We had 4 new home churches started during this period.

We have now trained 55 disciples who have given their lives to Christ recently.

We started training 24 new leaders to plant churches in new areas.

We have provided assistance to those affected by the earthquake which hit the country at the end of last year. We have supported 12 hard-to-reach villages, we sent a team of 7 people to plant churches as well as provide support, 600 families were provided with 700 food packs, 1200 covers, 50 plastic tents, 100 metal tents

We had the opportunity to share the Gospel with the people we helped and we are still in contact with them.

Prayers

• A young lady of Muslim background found Christian channels online and started sending us some questions. She became a believer and her family threatened to kill her as her father is an imam. She ran away and went to live somewhere else without telling her family. She stayed strong and bold during all of this. Pray for her growth and protection.
• A new believer of Muslim background was confronted by his mother, asking why he did not pray five times a day. It started as a discussion but developed into a sore point. As it says in Matthew 10:36, our enemies will be in our own house. However, this brother has remained faithful to the Lord and shares faith with his friends. Pray for God to protect him from all his problems and difficulties.
• Pray for new believers as they face persecution.
• Pray for new ministers in areas in the farthest reaches of the land.
• Pray for the media ministry to grow and cover all places of need.
• Pray for my little girl who is sick and needs a touch of God for healing.
• Pray for the church planting ministry to cover all places of need.
