Calling all Young Adults! After Sunday School on Sunday, September 8th we'll be kicking off our Fall season of Young Adult Fellowship (YAF) and would love for you to join us!

Summer Missions Night

Sunday, September 15^th, we are having a Summer Missions Night! Peter Otoshi, Grace Balentine and Garrett and Lia Trainor will be sharing about their summers in Nigeria, Togo, and Italy. Join us at 7:00 p.m. in the Basement.

Women's Ministries' Bible Studies

Thursday Bible Study

Begins September 19 at 9:00 AM in the SGCS Basement.

Kristen Halverson will be teaching the book of Thessalonians.

Tuesday Bible Study

Begins September 24 at 7:00 PM in the SGCS Basement.

It meets the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month.

Diane Acosta’s Bible Study

Meets the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM.

Praises

We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary this August. We are so thankful for God's amazing blessing and continual provision in our marriage.

Praise God for Pray for Eurasia, a mobile app that daily highlights a single unreached people group living in Eurasia. Through the app, you can learn more about the people, see details about their spiritual state, and pray through a list of specific prayer points for that group. Once you have prayed, you can click the "I am Praying" button and see how many others have joined you in prayer on that day.

Praise God for the volunteers that have joined our ministry! It has been a blessing to work alongside them.

We are thankful for the many learning opportunities our children have had this summer. It is amazing to see how fast Caleb has learned to communicate in American Sign Language.

Prayers

Lord willing, we will kick-off our 6th year of the after-school Good News Club at the Ca. School for the Deaf this Fall. Please pray it can bless the local community.

One of our desires is to encourage and nurture Katy's love for animals. So, this summer, Katy started fostering kittens from a local pet adoption center. Through a series of unforeseen circumstances, we ended up with SEVEN kittens at one time! So, Katy has been quite busy taking great care of our temporary residents and tending to their daily and also medical needs. Pray that God would provide good homes for each of the seven kittens.
