WEDNESDAY, OCT. 18

Hi, Shelterforce,

Over the last several months, we've reported on the many ways that housing and disability justice intersect. In the Under the Lens series Not Just Ramps: Disability and Housing Justice, we explored how developers could truly prioritize building disability friendly housing, the ways affordable housers can create engaging and sensory-rich housing communities that are welcoming, why people with disabilities are getting stuck in group homes or institutions, and so much more.

Today we're re-sharing the entire series. We hope these articles have resonated with you, and that you'll share some of these important pieces with your friends and colleagues.

While this series has come to a close, we will—of course—continue to report on this important intersection.

Until next time,

—Lillian M. Ortiz, Shelterforce's managing editor

P.S.: You can also listen to the entire series here. Enjoy!
