Did you know... that Sisterhood membership grew from 75 charter members in 1906, to 260 members in 1908? That year, Sisterhood furnished the Rabbi’s study and all the Sunday School classrooms for the new B’nai Jehudah Temple on Linwood Boulevard. Sisterhood organized Hanukkah and Purim parties for the Sunday School students that year as well.

Award Honorees Announcement | |
We have so many amazing women involved in Sisterhood!
Sisterhood recognizes outstanding achievement with our Shoshana Award which was initiated in 1982. For 40 years, this has been Sisterhood’s sole award. The Sisterhood Board is excited to let you know that two new awards have been created, Service to Sisterhood Award and Emerging Leader Award, which will give us the opportunity to recognize and honor more of our fabulous "Sisters."
This year's honorees are:
Carol Schwartz, Shoshana Award
Pam Auerbach, Service to Sisterhood Award
Shannon Maker, Emerging Leader Award
These women will be recognized at our Appreciation Luncheon, "A Celebration of Sisterhood" on February 26. Please save the date and join us for this special event. The invitation will be coming by email in January.
If you wish to make a donation in honor of these women, please scroll down to the "Make a Contribution" button and a list of our Funds. We appreciate your support.

Moving? Cleaning up?
Help Support Sisterhood, too.
You will get a tax donation form and Sisterhood gets a percentage of the earnings thanks to our Sisterhood member, Lori Siegel, the owner of the resale shop "A Lotta Stuff at Stan's."
Items should be in the garage boxed and ready to go. If necessary she can help clean out and remove usable items from your home for a reasonable charge. Lori can use almost any item as long as it is not ripped, stained, broken, and still has some usefulness.
