Thanksgiving, a special American harvest holiday, is a time for us to gather with our family and friends and enjoy a delicious meal. After the Pandemic, we truly appreciate this wonderful time together. Let's remember what we are thankful for – our family, our friends, our food, our homes, our country, our congregation, our freedom and any of the myriad of blessings in our lives.
Happy Thanksgiving

October 2nd - Women's Health Panel
On October 2nd, 40+ Sisterhood members and guests gathered to listen and learn from a panel of women on the most recent updates in womens health. We had perspectives from Rabbi Kramer, a reproductive health attorney (Christina Miller), an OBGYN (Dr. Rebecca Wayman), the director of advocacy at MOCSA (Victoria Pickering), and the incredible Joy Koesten (local politician and Sisterhood Member). The information and stories that were discussed were invaluable and everyone seemed to walk away with some great insights.

Sukkapalooza
Sisterhood hosted a Social Action station at Sukkapalooza this year. Families were able to put together Kesher Bags (bags for people in need of food that they may encounter in the community). The families were able to assemble bags and then either donate the bags to JFS or keep them for their cars. 100 bags were assembled and 75 were donated to JFS.

Sisterhood membership brings women together to enjoy a variety of activities for friendship, camaraderie, personal growth, service and religious learning. Hope you will become a part of our awesome group.
We appreciate your membership & support.

Moving? Cleaning up?
Help Support Sisterhood, too.
You will get a tax donation form and Sisterhood gets a percentage of the earnings thanks to our Sisterhood member, Lori Siegel, the owner of the resale shop "A Lotta Stuff at Stan's."
Items should be in the garage boxed and ready to go. If necessary she can help clean out and remove usable items from your home for a reasonable charge. Lori can use almost any item as long as it is not ripped, stained, broken, and still has some usefulness.
