#GivingTuesdayCLT is an unprecedented collaboration of hundreds of Mecklenburg County nonprofits as well as corporations, local businesses, professional sports teams and community organizations working together for the greater good.
From Nov. 20-27 Charlotteans can be part of this global movement and give GOOD by making financial contributions, give or pledge volunteer time at Veterans Bridge Home, helping lift up our local nonprofit community.

Philadelphia Presbyterian Church in Mint Hill has generously offered Veterans Bridge Home the opportunity to provide 30 veteran or military families with a free live Christmas tree as part of their Christmas Tree Santa program. Each recipient will receive a live Christmas tree, tree stand, ornaments (including handmade ornaments), and lights. The church will have volunteers who will help carry and tie trees to vehicles. Recipients will need to pick the tree up from Philadelphia Presbyterian Church in Mint Hill.
The Charlotte Thanksgiving Parade started out in 1947 as a small-town community event. Now, 71 years later, it has grown to become the #1 destination for folks who want to celebrate their family, friends and neighbors over the Thanksgiving holiday.
Over 110,000 people and 600 volunteers lined the streets of Uptown Charlotte on Thanksgiving Day. People were watching online all over the world from Washington to Mexico to Sweden!

Through the theme of empathy, Vicarious invites dialogue around issues related to veterans and the veteran experience, using art as the vehicle for discussion and reflection. This multi-disciplinary exhibition will invite conversation around the power of art to reach into the psyche in a way nothing else can.
