What's Good?

Who's had this struggle since last week? Like a lot of us in the country, we took a pause to eat, enjoy family and check on our eyelids.

STAT OF THE WEEK: 26.3% is the magic number! We asked last week what you were most excited about over the Thanksgiving holiday. It was a tie for" Fooooodd!!" and "Spending time with family and friends where each received 26.3% of the vote. I guess its safe to say that most of you had lots of amazing food with family and friends. A close third was "Are you kidding? I'm sleeping!" coming in at 22.1%. Whatever you did or ate, we hope you enjoyed every minute of it. Thanks for participating!

Giving Tuesday

Did you know that #GivingTuesday was created to give donations to encourage donations to non-profit communities after the spending on Black Friday and Cyber Monday? Did you also know that donations don't have to be huge or all at one time to make an impact in your community?

Your donation of $10 a month, can help one Veteran network and gain social capital within their community with no financial burden or risk on their part.

A donation of $20 a month can help us provide services to a Veteran and their family.

You can make a one time or recurring donation by clicking here. We also take crypto! Click here for more info.

Marine Corps partially relaxes its strict hair rules for women (Military Times)

New guidance authorized by the commandant of the Marine Corps somewhat loosens the force’s strict rules governing female Marines’ hair, but — unlike every other branch — ponytails are still verboten.

MARADMIN message released Wednesday gives female Marines leeway to wear their hair loose at a slightly greater length than before, allows some half-up hairstyles, lets women wear short twists and authorizes a wider range of styles for women with long hair. It also explicitly removes the expectation that women wear their hair slicked back.

NCServes is the first state-wide network to coordinate care for Veterans and their families.
Every Veteran and every family is different.

Therefore their care must be tailored to meet their unique needs. The only way all of these needs can be met is through a networked approach.
