What's New According to the CDC, the Omicron variant has been detected in most states and territories and is rapidly increasing the proportion of COVID-19 cases it is causing. As we continue to monitor its course, VBH will be limiting in-person events until further notice. CDC expects that anyone with Omicron infection can spread the virus to others, even if they are vaccinated or don’t have symptoms. VETERAN SERVING ORGANIZATION SPOTLIGHT
This week we spotlight Catholic Charities Diocese of Charlotte. Not only have they stepped up in a major way to support Afghan refugee arrivals to Charlotte, they have also been a leader in providing food assistance and housing support to many local veterans. Since joining the network, they have responded to over 1,700 service requests. Thank you, CCDOC for all you do for the local veteran community!

If you know of an awesome veteran, veteran family member, caregiver, or veteran serving organization to spotlight, let them know and have them submit this form!

VETERAN SERVICES
NCServes is the first state-wide network to coordinate care for Veterans and their families.
Every Veteran and every family is different.

Therefore their care must be tailored to meet their unique needs. The only way all of these needs can be met is through a networked approach.

Ask if the organization you are working with if they are a NCServes member.
