WHAT'S NEW? The Veterans Transition Center and new VBH HQ, located at 5260 Parkway Plaza Blvd, Suite 110, Charlotte, NC 28217, is now open. We are looking for volunteers to help greet, welcome, and interact all of our friends and fellow Veterans we expect to see in the new space. (Think of it as the duty desk, but at the nicest Air Force Base you can ever imagine.) If you would like to volunteer on a reoccurring basis, please let us know here.

VETERAN SPOTLIGHT This week we shine the spotlight on Anthony Hatfield. As a 15R Apache crew chief in the U.S. Army, SGT Hatfield deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom during the course of his six-year enlistment. He received the Army Commendation medal and made the Commandants List in the Warrior Leadership Course. Anthony is now a project specialist with City Electric Supply and loves to travel and spend time with his wife Caitlin, and their twin daughters, Laney and Addison.
