A new iconic dive tower is taking shape at the Marguerite Aquatics Center in Mission Viejo. This 44-year-old, legendary training facility is undergoing a complete renovation. The $10 million project includes renovation of the facility's three pools and construction of new mechanical buildings, a grandstand, multiple shade structures and other features. The Center is the training site of the Nadadores swim and dive program where Olympians Greg Louganis and Brian Goodell trained. The program boasts 47 National Team Championships, 20 Olympic medals, and more than 135 All-Americans. The state-of-the-art Aquatics Center is scheduled to re-open in early 2018. Learn more > >

Half Moon Bay Library
Site utility work is complete at the new 22,000 square foot Half Moon Bay Library. The Zero Net Energy facility is designed to achieve LEED Gold® certification. Planning for the $23 million library included extensive community outreach, engagement and input in the 270-square-mile San Mateo Coastside area served by the Library. Mackay Park, Cypress
The first new park in the City of Cypress in 20 years, Mackay Park is nearing completion. Opening in November, the $2.5 million neighborhood park features two playgrounds, exercise equipment, a half-court basketball court, restrooms, parking, and picnic and shade structures on almost three acres.

Marina Park, Newport Beach Receives
National APWA Project of the Year Award
Marina Park in Newport Beach was named the National American Public Works Association Project of the Year in the $25-75M Structures category at the recent PWX Annual Conference & Expo in Orlando. "The project encompassed many elements," said Griffin Project Manager Jon Hughes. "It was a great team effort, working with Public Works Director Dave Webb, Recreation/Senior Services Director Laura Detweiler, Project Manager Iris Lee (now in Buena Park), and a dedicated construction team."
