Trailer Rentals 101: Answers to Questions We Hear Every Day

What should I consider when selecting a trailer?

> Need: storage, road or cartage

> Size: capacity requirements and space restrictions

> Door Type: swing or overhead door

What size trailers are available?

28-foot, 32-foot, 40-foot, 43-foot, 45-foot, 48-foot and 53-foot.

What's the difference between a road trailer and a storage trailer?

A road trailer transports goods over long distances and is registered for road use. Storage trailers are used for on-site storage and are not equipped or registered for road transport.

Can I order a customised trailer?

Trailers can be customized to accommodate special heights and lengths, as well as side door and liftgate installations.

Temporary Storage for a Season of Big Sales and Bigger Inventory

If you are a retailer in need of temporary extra storage space for a busy season or a long-term solution for product movement, we can provide a customized solution. From ground-level containers for holiday inventory to trailers that move products from warehouse to store, our solutions make overflow storage and logistics simple and seamless.

During peak seasons, ground-level storage containers are ideal for managing inventory and improving product flow. For locations with dock access, trailers provide an efficient way to store recyclables, manage surplus goods, and move products between warehouses and stores. For warehouse operations, our trailers can be preloaded with inventory and delivered directly to retail locations.

Kingpin

Neglecting This Trailer Part Could Derail Your Operations

Roughly 30% of all kingpins used on trucks in the United States and Canada do not meet standards for acceptable tolerances. Eventually, every kingpin needs to be replaced.

We recommend that you implement the following service measures every three months or 30,000 miles:

> Check the kingpin for damage

> Check the kingpin mounting

> Inspect the kingpin for wear

> Check the flatness of the upper coupler plate

Installing a new kingpin or upper coupler could double your trailer’s life.

Stay Ahead of Schedule with Jobsite-ready Storage Solutions

Contractors are using storage containers and trailers to keep their projects on time and on budget. For example, general contractors are using converted storage containers as fully equipped onsite offices. The units come complete with lighting, HVAC, and workstations.

Electricians, plumbers, and HVAC professionals are using ground-level storage containers to keep tools, materials, and specialized equipment safe and accessible. The heavy-duty steel containers provide rugged, tamper-resistant protection against theft, vandalism, and weather.

For long-term, multi-year projects, contractors are deploying jobsite-ready trailers that can be pre-loaded at the fabrication shop and delivered to the job site.
