Dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus, part of the growing repentance remnant, cleansing as His Bride, getting ready for His soon return as our Bridegroom-----
Staying on the theme for this week - on Calculating the Cost of Discipleship, join me again today looking at what Jesus said in Luke 14:
Luke 14:27-29, 33 AMP
Whoever does not carry his own cross [expressing a willingness to endure whatever may come] and follow after Me [believing in Me, conforming to My example in living and, if need be, suffering or perhaps dying because of faith in Me] cannot be My disciple.
For which one of you, when he wants to build a watchtower [for his guards], does not first sit down and calculate the cost, to see if he has enough to finish it? Otherwise, when he has laid a foundation and is unable to finish [the building], all who see it will begin to ridicule him, ....
So then, none of you can be My disciple who does not [carefully consider the cost and then for My sake] give up all his own possessions.
What does this "Cost of being a disciple" mean - and are you and I really willing to pay the Price it asks of us ??
As Jesus said in John 15:14-17
You are my friends, if you do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knows not what his lord does: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever you shall ask of the Father in My Name, He may give it you. These things I command you, that you love one another.
So the question we as believers in Jesus / Yeshua need to ask ourselves regularly is: what do I need to do to bring forth the Good FRUIT that Jesus is Referring to in John 15 ?
Well He answers that for us in Matt 3 - when John the Baptist said to the Pharisees & Sadducees:
Matthew 3:8 AMP
So produce fruit that is consistent with repentance [demonstrating new behavior that proves a change of heart, and a conscious decision to turn away from sin];
And that applies to you and me today. The Risen Christ is now asking of us, to Change our Thinking as well as our Behavior - And start walking in the Agapé LOVE of God, really showing that we Love one another, caring for each other. We can not afford to just say to each other "I love you in the Name of the Lord", but we don't actually show that we actually mean it.
God's LOVE is an ACTION WORD - it isn't just something we feel or say !! God is expecting us to DO something about it.
James 2:14- 26 tells us - we show our FAITH (and thus also our Obedience as Disciples to the Lord), through our Good Works:
James 2:14 AMP
What is the benefit, my fellow believers, if someone claims to have faith but has no [good] works [as evidence]? Can that [kind of] faith save him? [No, a mere claim of faith is not sufficient—genuine faith produces good works.]
And these Good Works include supporting others in their ministries, sowing seeds not just financially, but also through Prayer and Intercession, and showing ourselves willing to give some of our Time, our Resources and even of our Possessions - Holding nothing back for God's Kingdom..!!
Jesus even gives us a Promise of a Blessing that goes with it - when we truly take this to heart and step out in Faith and start Putting His Kingdom First and above anything and everything else..!!
Meaning - He doesn't just expect us to just do....do...do...and just give..give..give...working like a slave..and not receiving any rewards..!!
NO !! He actually tells us in Mark 10 that we will not just receive Eternal Life in the age to come, but " a hundred times as much now in the present age" when we do choose to give up our own lives for His Kingdom !!
Mark 10:28-31 AMP
Peter started saying to Him, “Look, we have given up everything and followed You [becoming Your disciples and accepting You as Teacher and Lord].”
Jesus said, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, there is no one who has given up a house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or farms, for My sake and for the gospel’s sake, who will not receive a hundred times as much now in the present age—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and farms—along with persecutions; and in the age to come, eternal life.
But many who are first will be last, and the last, first.”
And thus we want to invite you to SOW also into National Day of Repentance with this Expectation of the PROMISE that you will Receive even up to a hundred times more than what you've chosen to give in this present age, and also know that you will be even rewarded in the age to come - even with Eternal LIFE - which is the Promise of our Lord when He comes again with Salvation and bringing Rewards for everyone...!!
NOW: This promise is not just giving financially, but includes the giving of your time, either through Prayer, perhaps join 1 of our Regular Zoom meetings and come and pray and intercede with us for the nations, and also assist us with your Knowledge and Skills - like IT Related support, or Admin Related Support which, given the wonderful rapid expansion of repentance, we now are in desperate need of...etc...
We welcome all the support from you for our Pastors in whatever support they need: for example, Bibles (Audio and Physical Bibles and any other Biblical literature), regular transport fees, assistance and support for every repentance event in any particular country, even fertilizer for the Jesus Farms, as well as for the different farming projects of the OUT Youths in Malawi, or assistance to the women's repentance ministry in Balaka, Malawi.... or Ps Isaac in Uganda. In addition to travelling and accommodation costs he wishes to start a goat farm, raising funds for his hungry community, and funds for his Uganda Kneel repentance conferences. ,
And as you've seen the poster in the beginning of this letter today - Liberia in West Africa, who are threatened to be ruled by the Muslim faith - are Planning their Very First REPENTANCE EVENT EVER this coming weekend !!
And thus we need your support in order for them to make this a success - in all their plans !!
Our Repentance pastors are willing to travel the length, width & breadth of their countries, even going across the borders to other countries, to preach Repentance !! They are asking from us to show them our love and support !! And you can do this through:
- Praying & Interceding for them - letting them know you are standing with them !!
- Stand with them in faith, fighting the spiritual warfare with them, as they face all kinds of spiritual attacks and resistance
- And Trusting the Lord with them (standing in agreement - as per Matt 18), so they can overcome every obstacle, and be able to reach those you and I can't reach, and help those you and I can't help directly...
- And also support them financially in whatever they need - as the need is great, as lack and poverty is a huge problem they are all facing and having to deal with constantly, with terrible economy issues, etc..!!
Thus: each of these pastors would love to know you are there for them, and they would love it even more to meet you, even if it is just over a zoom call every week. Just knowing you are there, praying for them...when they suddenly hit a difficult situation, are persecuted, maybe even tortured, are in danger of life threatening situations...you will help...you will pray, and you will support them..?!
Remember: As King David made a statute in 1 Sam 30, in Israel, that those waiting with the provisions, receive the same blessing as those that went out to fight the war.
1 Samuel 30:23-25 AMP
David said, “You must not do so, my brothers, with what the Lord has given us. He has kept us safe and has handed over to us the band [of Amalekites] that came against us. And who will listen to you in regard to this matter? For as is the share of him who goes down into the battle, so shall his share be who stays by the provisions and supplies; they shall share alike.”
So from that day forward he made it a statute and an ordinance for Israel to this day.
Thus, when a pastor goes out on a missions trip or an outreach in whichever area, and saves just 1 soul, you will receive the same joy and blessings + rewards they will receive, because you supported them to make that trip, standing with them in prayer.
And if a pastor helps someone to be fed or clothed, or help someone in whatever need there is, you will receive the same reward from the Lord, when you helped them to help the poor and the hungry. (Matthew 25:34-40)
Because, with your support and your prayers, these pastors preaching repentance (Mark 6:12) have the wind under their wings - His Holy Spirit! and they have even more HOPE to reach the Lost at all cost..!!
And they won't give up, but will keep pushing forward..!!
So, you and I have no excuse really before the Lord to make a difference anymore.
Together, we can do something, we can pray, we can encourage, and we can support through our finances..
Just think for a moment. NDR, in operation since 2011, has 4,400 wonderful people on its database in 49 nations. If 1,000 people each just give $10 each month, we at National Day of Repentance will have $10,000 to make a huge difference, not just in Africa, but even in other countries, like India, Pakistan, Australia, etc.!!!
THUS: Please consider sowing just $10 every month, and also make that time, to join us on zoom...come and pray for our pastors - and ENCOURAGE them...

These youth, having found their calling through repentance are now wanting to feed their neighbors with physical as well as spiritual food.
